You for the effort as I really do believe it's mostly a language thing.

They all need to speak English anyways. If they don't understand our English speaking Admins then they dont belong on the server.

The forum works with Google translator now. That way you can read everything on the forum in most languages.

I also agree with /3ison here that they need to have some basic knowledge of the English language so they can understand the Admins.

If they are warned in English and they don't understand, well bad luck for them but they will be kicked .

- Google translator sucks, everyone knows that, because like wikipedia, anyone can write translations...(1)

- Rules in spanish and portuguese helps the guest players to best undertanding of the rules, because english redaction of the rules is confused... Just read the rules of other clans, that are similar, to figure that our rules may be shorter and clearer...

- As soon as the guests are in the server, certainly they must understand the administrators in English, it is not necessary to notice it, but it will be guests who already understood the rules well.

(1) Google translator sucks: I put this phrase in spanish: "Una vez que los invitados están en el servidor, desde luego deben entender al administrador en inglés, no es necesario remarcarlo" or "As soon as the guests are in the server, certainly they must understand the administrators in English, it is not necessary to notice it"

Google translation: "Once you are on the server guests, of course the administrator must understand English, it is necessary to emphasize"

.....a shit of translation

Google translation of our rules to spanish is a big bag of shit...

P.S. Natan, obviously I believe you can understand the advantage that our rules wrote in real spanish, portuguese, french, german, or other languages brings to us...

I agree with you R_Mad. I use very often translators, but also a good dictionary to help me and it is still too difficult to avoid mistakes.

I think that should be included in the SNIPER RULES basic words and phrases in several languages.

For example:

- stop running / deja de correr / przestań biegać /

etc.

I never use google translator, so I didn't know it was that bad on translations. You wouldn't expect that. Still if the sniper rules are written in other languages and are put back on the forum again there isn't a translator on the sniper server itself. A little knowledge of Enlish while playing on the server is almost a must. That's why we have problems with Spanish / Potuguese and French players most of the time. They just don't understand what's being told to them in-game. I don't think however it would be to much of a problem to put the old translations, that we used before, back onto the forum.

If one third of the guests on the server already know the rules well in their language (well written rules) is likely we would have a third fewer problems for administrators during the games.

Most of them are adults or older people who understand something in English.

The main problem are the kids, including mini DOU, that regardless of knowing or not English do not care to abide by rules...

On the other hand we have to admit that a lot of guests come from Latin countries, who speak Spanish or Portuguese, and we must ensure that they do not become a permanent problem, which move away from the server the good sniper players.

To achieve this it is best that the rules are also in their language... there is something simple to understand and simple to do.
