For those of you who may not know him as well, Retired has been battling prostrate cancer for some time. Back in the spring he was making a decent recovery after surgery. He hasn't been around for awhile and I got this email from him today:

Been gone awhile. Found out my cancer is back. Doing radiation now. Bummer.

I've emailed him back with condolences and the new server IP. He doesn't know that I'm posting this to you guys - but I know if I were in his shoes it would mean a lot to me for peeps to be a bit more friendly than usual when they saw me on the server.
Hope he gets better. He is fun to play with. For those of you don't know Otis and I fold to help cure cancer and other diseases. Not sure if we helped with this but it is possible so read this article from a form that I belong to.

I hope he beats it too. Unfortunately the prognosis is not good as prostrate cancer is a hard-core killer.
You people need to jerk off more, lol. Actually, the frequency of masturbation (or sex for the lucky few of you) has a direct relationship to your chances of getting prostrate cancer. The more you - for lack of a better word - expel, the better your chance of not getting prostrate cancer. This is because you are constantly cleaning out the system and ridding your body of those nasty pre-cancerous cells.
FYI: The prostrate is a male sexual organ, women do not have one. This is not to say that women shouldn't "relieve" themselves more too, then maybe they wouldn't be so fucking uptight all the time. 😛
On a similar note, eating 2 large carrots a day will reduce your chance of getting lung cancer by 50%. The brighter orange the carrots the better (there are all sorts of different colored carrots, even white and purple ones). Orange is the key. So if you smoke, eat carrots. Lung cancer is 90% fatal within the first 5 years of diagnosis. It is close to 100% fatal at the 5 year point. Nobody beats lung cancer, nobody.

Man, that sucks. Never really spoke with the guy, but played with him a lot. Seemed real nice though. Hope he can overcome this thing.

Retired's been a regular here for quite a while, about a year would be my guess I haven't checked.
Very sorry to hear his cancer is back, always enjoyed my games with him on the server, never spoke to him much.
Otis... did you know him from somewhere else before he came here ? you seem to be closer to him than most.
