Here is what I know as of today:
He went into surgery yesterday morning. Got a text from him saying he was in pre-op and Mary would let me know by noon how he was dong. When I got done working @ 5:30 I haven't heard anything yet so I sent a text to see how he was doing. Around 8ish I got a reply saying he was out and doing fine. Sounds as though the 4hr job took around 12 :eek . From what I understand he had a partial lung collapse during surgery as well. They had him sitting up in a chair earlier and had him up and walking later as well.
Sounds good so far so lets keep the prayers going for him :peace_v:

Last I heard this morning was he was running a fever. I asked if that was to be expected from what he just went through and she said that the Dr. said he was still doing great. So it sounds like the fever was of no concern.

Prayers for Cygnus... no one should have to go through those kind of illnesses. Thinking of you during these holidays.
Talked to the old man via cell phone today, got sick of texting, rather talk 8) anyways he sounds rough but it was good to hear his voice. Got a long road ahead of him but I know he can do it 😀 Said something about a 3 nurse rotation, I pretty much told him to lay off them till he got better 😉
PS, I told him about what {DOU}.R_Mad said about her latest recruite and he asked me to ask her what her drink of choice was. He was gonna have one (a drink) on her 
Told him he couldn't were he was and said he would sneak one in :peace_v:
All in all hes doing good, hurts but still kicking its ass. I told him I would call again when I was off this weekend. I let him know too that your thoughts were still with him. It is much appreciated ❗
