I am noticing that a lot of people are playing the hoard mode in 2004. Sorry, I forget the real name. Anyways, why not use one of the servers we have to host a DOU version? To be honest, I would feel more comfortable learning how to play on a home server instead of being surrounded by a bunch of pros while I look like a dumbass. We could use the trans practice server as it is unpopulated most of the time. We can also recruit some 2k4 players increasing our diversity.

Just an idea.

Considering that point and while Tommy think in your idea... you could help make it a reality more quickly if you use his nickname in those servers...

Just another idea.

Actually I can't. This game uses your name to assign points and levels. I doubt it would let me play as Tommy. Besides, everyone would know it was me cause Tommy is getting good at it.

It is Invasion, the 2K4 version of Monster Hunt. Oban and I are already discussing setting up a server. When the mood strikes me I go to other servers to see how different ones are set up to get an idea of how we will want ours set up.

We have plenty of beef on the box, so this server will be a reality ASAP.

Do I have to go on Ebay for 2K4 or is there a pirated version you guys have your hands on?

I am sure you can torrent or nzb a copy of it somewhere (anywhere). I think Razor knows a way to make it work once you have it.

As far as i know they have it locked up pretty tight you can play the pirated version off-line ok but the on-line game needs to be a genuine game install .....

Perfect. Defiantly I'm kind of getting sick of UT99. Guess I've been playing to many Xbox 360 games online. I've seen a couple of screenies from 2K4 looks pretty crisp. Hows the sniper/camping for it? I've got alot of questions but to sum it up is it as good as UT99 or?
