Hi,
I came to my ex's place today. He was laying down in the bed with Edouard my 7 yo son. He called me in the room and told me that Edouard fell off a tree 😮
I asked if he was ok. His wirst was hurting. I took a look... Was very swolen. I took him to the clinic and the doctor even without xrays told me that it was broken. He made a paper to go to hospital. After 3 hours at clinic, we were heading to hospital. Waited there 5 hours to finaly get angry and went to ask for news. The nurse went to see the doctor. Edouard have a broken wrist and middle finger is broken as well. They took him in a room and he have a half cast because it will even get swollen more. In a week we have to go back so they can make a full one.
He is not allowed any sports or any pool for at least 1 month. Its his right arm... the one he use to eat, write and play games.
My heart is broken. It is so hard to see kids suffering 🙁

Eh - he'll be okay. Broken bones are a part of growing up for boys. I broke both of my feet when I was a kid playing Frisbee and then broke my hand one time in a fight in High-school. The best thing to do is encourage him not to be scared to get back on the roof. Whatever you do - don't go coddling him - he'll turn into a mamas boy and might start wearing your unmentionables.
Yes he'll be fine. I play a lot of extreme sports and have broken 5 bones and tore a lot of crap. He will be having fun in no time. Like Otis said you don't want him to be a mama's boy.

Edouard is tough. Pain does not scare him... he is scared of nothing that little boy. 😆
I did not show him that it was getting to me. I wont stop him from doing anything but for a week because its a half cast, I prefer that he does not take any chances. The cast is only on bottom. On top he have an elastic band.
He made people laugh a lot yesterday. That little boy is so funny.
He was talking with his brother at the clinic.
Zachary: Eddy, when you fell, did it crack?
Edouard: No it made boom!
Zachary: It did not crack???
Edouard: Well it made boom then crack
😆 Everybody was laughing.
