What should DOU do about Lovely35?

Hi there,

First of all, I would like to say that I played on another name for months. You never had any complaints. I never been assaulted, taunted, provocated, close revenged or anything on that name. As soon as I take my name, this is where the troubles starts. So what is the problem? Me or only the name because of the troubles on another server who have nothing to do with here??

Second of all, I dont care who tells you what. I have enough demos to prove that it is not me doing those things. Maybe for the trans drop but I do it only to go get pickups and I come back to it in my spot. You told me yourself Cygnus that it was ok to do so. So am I wrong for doing it or wrong for beleiving you? Another thing I have been told: You cant camp in a pickup place. I am not doing it because I have been told but others can and its ok?

I get complaints for using deemers, most of members and guests use them. If you dont like people using them, take em off the server. Like this there will be no problem with them.

The guests who are complaining are the ones who are breaking the rules themself or cheating so perso I would shut my mouth before saying anything against me because yes I go for deemers and pickups but I dont do what they do.

I dont hunt, roam, run n gun, close revenge so what is the problem? Going in a place to get a long range revenge? Is that not allowed? Ok I take a bit longer to go to my spot but I can xloc fast so looks long but its not.

For the complaining, most of the people I did complaint about were justified. Other members did complaint about them not long after. A lot of them have been ban or on the way to and some others have improved. Balony did improve. A lot of those bad players keep changing names and make troubles so it look like its a lot of people but in fact, its not.

Some are complaining about me going for secrets... Well, they do it themselfs. So why complaining when they do it?

Looks to me that you want a full server no matter who is on and what they are doing. You want people to shut up to keep the people coming on. A question here: Why the rules then?

So now that I did shut my mouth and act correctly appart from using deemers, you want me out? I did what you wanted but its not enough. What do you want me to do then?

Oh and btw if you kick out every members who does assault, roam, close revenge, run n gun and use deemers you wont have anyone left almost on the clan.

How many times I seen (and it was not about me): you are a clan member but you assault and close revenge.

Told in another post that I did make mistakes and it happend but over and over... No!!! When I do a mistake I can say it and say sorry.

I asked you to tell me and bring me proofs. Like the time when you accused me of making love on vent... That was a total ridiculous lie as well. And for ZSZ, those things were justified as well but they are just showing what they want to make and advantage of it. If you seen the logs of me logged on AD's admin, it was him playing on my name not me. But even then, they did not tell you that. I did play a couples of time on his admin but without knowing it and that was before we created 2 different accounts for UT.

Since we are in that, for Revisio, he started playing freestyle, recording demos to find my spot and he was camping in elevators, teleporters and pickup places. He was coming for close revenge or going back to the same spots to get me. He is now frien with those SS and Mimetic and he is cting like them. So I really dont care what he says. He was on vent with them this week.

Those SS and Mimetic did spread things and got people against me and I heard it myself. It got reported to me by one of them who they tried to put up against me.

Going to the same spot like I said I have done it myself. Did not know it was wrong to do so if someone was not in my spot but now I know.

Maybe trying to beleive me instead of liars would help a bit. Loads of ZSZ members came to me to apology for not beleiving me. I dont want the same thing happening here. I dont want to be the one paying for a mistake again and being hurt again. Like I said, I am human and have feelings. I dont say I am always right either. I made a mistake yesterday and said it.

I like the clan here and I dont want to be booted out or quit. I did a lot to improve and will continue to improve if you just can tell me what I am doing wrong... for real. Not Lies!!

Let me start off by saying out-loud that I DO NOT DISLIKE LOVELY. I genuinely like her for what it's worth here. I have known Lovely for a long time and played with her on various servers even longer. She has a dark cloud following her every where she goes.

However, in my opinion we bring on ourselves our own karma - meaning that I believe in the notion that we reap what we sow. Translated: there is no mistake that this negative energy follows her around; she brings it on herself.

Cut to the chase....

She has been a problem to DOU and it's guests since day 1. With Lovely here and wearing the DOU tag things will continue to decline. We had a big problem with JK and as soon as that was dealt with here comes another form of trouble. We need to cut losses and cut Lovely from DOU to save face for the rest of the clan. We also need to think about the recruitment process and be a little more selective, we will take almost anyone that fits the age requirement.

Sorry Lovely, you truly do bring it on yourself. You are a likable person with a very cheap style of play. Unfortunate. 🙁

The "cheap style of play" should be addressed in the Server Rules. There seems to be a failure of communication here.

I can not really address this issue as I have not played with Lovely on the server that much. I have played with Lovely in the FN ladder a few matches. She has a tendency to complain if things aren't going her way. This can be handled by the captains.

I have seen the post by others not in this clan and it worries me. We have worked long to make this THE place to be for sniper/campers. I would dare say that it is the most popular server for this genre right now and has been for a few years. The evidence suggest that we have a problem player, even if that player does not believe that she is the problem. We have had one member quit because of her play style (even though his own was questionable).

I hope that the server admins enlighten us with their opinions. I also hope that someone with the ability to pull up logs will confirm that someone logged into the console and kicked her anonymously. This is also a violation of rules and should be dealt with.

I will be watching this thread with interest. Lovely has shown that she wants to be a part of this group.

Some things are just common sense like - you don't just walk up to someone and wipe a booger on their shirt. It's not against the law - yet you just don't do it because it aint right. He did not kill anyone while going back. He did not revenge.

I looked up the rules and they do not specifically state that this is wrong. Now of course the Admin was correct and this is not acceptable behavior to most, BUT there are some people that will take advantage of anything that they can. Without a clear, concise, rule, the Admin was hesitant to enforce it and, ultimately let it go. It may be common sense, but there is an old saying:

Common sense isn't.

The rules have to be tailored to be understood by everyone. Even if they seem like common sense to us, some people have to have them spelled out.

I offer this: I will be happy to draft out the server rules to try and be as precise, yet easy to understand and brief as possible. I will post it here and let us all look them over and make changes where needed. Tommy and DM will get the final say in this of course. After the rules are agreed upon, we put them up for all to see.

I do not want to hijack this thread though. Let us continue the topic at hand.

In my opinion she does all the shit that she tells others not to do. If not worse. And then she lies about it without any thought. I cant tell you the amount of people who have told me or others in the server or even on IM that they wont play with her because of the way she handles herself. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if she were booted from the clan. I agree whole heartedly with Cygnus.

Sorry Lovely I tolerate you for the good of the clan but I think you are ruining the image of DOU

I originally voted for Lovely to join the clan, I liked her. Since she has been here we have had nothing but problems. Problems that always seem to have her at their center.I have honestly got to the point where i'm not interested in the right or wrong of it any longer. I just want the drama to stop.

Given a choice between alienating several members and even more guests ( sorry, not counting anyone even suspected of being one of the SS guys or Memetic) by keeping her, I will vote for her removal from DOU.

Well as you can see from the post above and in that other thread, she is still totally delusional. Still everyone else's fault, she never does those things even though we have all seen them happen. Calling everyone else that says anything a cheater... And speaking of using another name like you aren't supposed to, it was funny how there for a while a ton of people were complaining about someone else and asking why lovely wouldn't use her own name. Just like mimetic, the play style always shows. Speaking of, bullfuckingshit Revisio is friends with them. Sure they all hate lovely, but then if everyone that hated her was friends with mimetic he might actually leave his house sometimes. Revisio hates mimetic. This sounds just like when her candian stalkers were here and everyone and their dog was part of that conspiracy against her... 🙄 I am just tired of this. Hell he had even defended her recently against them, I really don't know why... Oh and claiming Revisio was doing all that shit that she does? I've often ran into his spot and been allowed to leave, and had him trans up to me, and he just leaves. That always earns me death with her, like everyone says, cheap play. Even when she leaves 10 seconds later she turns and shoots. Also to counter what she said loads of ZSZ players told me "haha you guys are fools for taking her" and often complain on our server about her. Then again some of them vote the same crap running maps.

It's a fact that TKK has really benefited from her though. When I would go play on there because she was picking crap secret maps lots of people would tell me that was why they went there also. Hell I really miss getting on vent and talking while playing, but I rarely find a time of day when she is off and I can only stand a small amount of her at a time. Pretty funny though when she tries to be all secret and talks to chraxe in french and chraxe just talks back in english... I like chraxe, she seems honest.

Oh look there watching Abberation play Rev just jumped in where he was and jumped back out instead of shooting him... And didn't shoot him as soon as he had a clear shot back that way...

In fairness to Lovely I did suggest to her she should play under an alias for a while to see if people were reacting to her name or how she plays. She had said that people were following her around trying to make her miserable I thought this would be a good way to find out how they would treat her if they didn't know it was her. I guess it didn't disguise her very well, picking the same maps and going to all her favorite spots.

I coach tennis and there are players that totally change when they compete. You can't believe the things they

do because you know them off the court. Something takes over her brain when she plays and she doesn't know she is doing it.

I sent a pm to her and told her to take a demo of herself and watch it.

My oldest daughter is a tennis player. I told her that she has to stop slamming her racquet on the ground after every error.

She said that i was crazy that she doesnt do that. I video taped her and she was so embarrassed. Never realized that she was doing that.

Yes there were. I had people complain to me about you abusing rules while under an alias. I also personally spectated you while you were using an alias and you did attempt many assaults on a player.

You haven't yet presented a demo that proves anything. The one I did see showed a player following the rules.

Dropping your trans to get a pick-up is fine. Why would you, Lovely, leave your trans in a secret/pick-up location?

This comment is where you destroyed any shred of credibility you had left. So you are talking about guests like Gizmo, Timinator, Cyberdyne, Draco and others I can't think of at the moment but who have been doing just fine on our server until you came along? You are either lying or delusional.

If these ZSZ members apologized to you why have they not come to our forum in your defense?

Whatever is to be done? I really don't care. To me it seems like another security issue. And as in all problem people we give them enough rope to hang themselves. Our problem as a clan is that we give them enough rope to hang themselves, their relatives, and half the country they live in.

This is why the Security Issues is one of the largest sections of the forum. I mean really, it took 57 posts and almost 300 replies before something was done about Mimetic. And then we vote on banning him. WTF from what I read he earned it a long time ago. =& at last read was starting to act right, but geez what did he put players through. Look at what the GEOF guys and DJ-hardbpm and the Canadians put players through before we did something. All the bullshit from people and we have to be nice guys, I don't think so. This is our house respect it or get the F out!!!

I am not saying be camping Nazis. I have been playing a long time and I have seen many good clans disintegrate by doing this. We have a very very good set of rules and a great style of play. Attendance on our server proves it. People love to come here til we get an problem player coming around and we drag our asses around doing nothing but talking about it. We have to learn to act sooner.

We wait til people, even our own members get fed up and start playing elsewhere. And then we are like "OH SHIT!!! maybe we should do something"......Guess what?....TOO DAMN LATE!!!! Damage done, some of these players will never come back. There is something innately wrong when our own members are not feeling like they want to play here and have to go elsewhere to have fun? We have to get off of our collective asses man up and do this in a much quicker and decisive way.

Fun, relaxation, and friendship are the reason most of us have gravitated to DOU. It has not been fun for me here most of the times i come back and play because there was someone here acting up, so I don't play much. Although i did have a good time here the other night....what a nice surprise!

Lovely, I do not know you, have never played with you. But I read every post on this forum. Clearly there are issues with your style of play. There are entirely too many people complaining about you for there not to be. I know you feel differently and that you are doing nothing wrong. But for many of the people speaking up about you I have very deep respect. I have known them for a long time and have never heard of them being false in any way. If anything they have to have been pushed over the edge by a bulldozer before they say anything negative about someone.

I suggest that you try very hard to try and negate the problems by very carefully playing by DOU rules. No one here is out to get you, they just want to have fun.

If your style of play is contrary to our rules, people are not having fun. If they are not having fun they leave. This in turn hurts DOU. If you really care for DOU and want to be part of a great group of people, you need to realize that with all these people complaining there may just have something to it.
