What should DOU do about Lovely35?

Allright, I just had a discussion with Tommy about this subject.

While the vote was for a ban Tommy did point out we have not gone to an extreme such as this for any other person who has been removed from DOU.

In all fairness we need to keep up our past standards and modify this to ejection from the clan only. I will restore Lovely to guest status after this posting. I will also be informing her that a ban is still possible if she chooses to continue past behaviors.

And remember she is a guest now and should be accorded the same respect we should be showing to the rest of our guests. And she will be eligible for membership reapplication in 3 months.

Unfortunately, it appears that whatever the circumstances Lovely35

had with "ZSZ" in the past obviously followed itself over, and what seems to be

the catalyst for the daily drama and bullshit. Which unfortunately now has the

With that said,I want to say that Lovely35s presence as a clan member, and even

when she was a {dou-r} have not been all negative encounters by any means.When i

first came onto our servers, which was our x-loc server and Lovely35 was still a

{dou-r} I noticed her helping the guests that would come on and play.She was the

first person i met, and made it apoint to welcome everybody that entered the server

and that while she was there would help anyone that asked for it. That truly

imppressed me and was what kept me coming back as a guest.She should be commended

for amount of time shes spent not just with me but with anybody thats ever asked

for her help while on our x-loc server.The dedication she showed as a {dou-r} along

with the freindship/s that arose were the reason I put in an application to become,

and have become a {DOU}member.Lovely35 along with myself and even [ZSZ]AngryDad to

this day,will always welcome and offer our help to anybody that enters our x-loc server.

I,m sure all of you who have played with Lovely35 on our servers have noticed shes an

extremely skilled player who will and does win alot of matches.I,ve also noticed that

really good players are alot easier to hate than a nominal player like myself.

Not all of her allegations are false either, I,ve been in the maps with her when the

obvious use of aimbots and radars,and the assulting, and close revenging, and not

playing by the rules were taking place.Unfortunately its a "BAD" on my part for not

reporting them all when they have happened....Sorry guys i,m a truck driver by trade

and it takes me a very long time to type anything. When i do report something it seems

to fall on deaf ears anyway...I,ve made a post about that issue, and whole heartedly agree

with {DOU}Charger on that issue. To continually open our doors to problem players

while letting {DOU}members get run off "in our own house" will never make sense to me.

I will agree at times LOvely35s choice of maps can be irratatting to some people,

especially the ones with those f**king deemers in them, but you know what, you put,em

in the maps and she knows how to use,em to her advantage.

Yes Lovely35 is very competitive and emotional player who sometimes I think she is invincibal

while in the game playing.Which i have even reminded her of, yes Lovely you too can

still be picked off.

So when the time comes to putting up a vote I believe shes a member worth keeping and

giving a chance of showing change.

Just want to say that I noticed when you were a recruit she made it a point to suck up to you just as she tried with everyone who pointed out her misdeeds. As a way to get you on her side I guess. Also In playing matches with the both of you she sucked up to you as she tried with me by not killing us when she obviously knew where were were as she flung deemers around the room. Especially if we were on vent.

She was given way to many chances in my opinion

Fair enough I guess. Is she still banned from vent? I nor Evil and many others will still be absent from ventrilo if that isn't the case

It applies to vent as well. But if she continues the complaining about everybody's play she'll lose the priveledge.

Remember, you can always use a different room.

After this, do you really think that she will be around? I would think that her pride has been injured too badly.

IMO i think its really unfair to start a vote on a wed. and call it a done deal by sun.

On a holiday weekend that starts on a fri. and ends on a mon. I,m pretty sure your leaving out members that would like the chance to vote, but now can,t because they came back from the Holiday on monday. Hell, even JK47 was givin over 2 weeks to vote on and decide before removal by the clan.........

She got about the average amount of votes that any poll ever gets. If we left it for 2 years it wouldnt have changed a whole lot.

Shoot - first it's always good to see you around and it's always good to see your level headed thoughts in the forum. I'm glad you feel confident in stating your contrasting opinions here - this is what it's all about! I and I believe everyone else definitely appreciates your honesty/feelings. However, even with your vote the results would've been the same.

I, much like you learned a lot from Lovely in the X-Loc server and as stated in an earlier post genuinely like her. The fact is that she played a very dishonest game on our server wearing the DOU tag. It was nothing out of the ordinary to be revenged or assaulted by her on a daily basis for most of our clan and it's guests as well. I've looked over your stats Shoot and I see that you have been on the server as a DOU for less than 5 hours and as a recruit for a total of 18 hours. Compared to Lovely's 150 hours I'm guessing that you didn't have very much involvement with her on the actual sniper server. A lot can go down in 125 hours of play. The fact is - Lovely has been counseled numerous times by myself, by admins and god knows who else since the first day she was wearing the dou-r tag.

I agree that Lovely can be a very nice person but her presence on the server was less than pleasant and was damaging the clans reputation/integrity. That simply cannot be allowed.

Please understand that I was not defending Lovely when I suggested that she should not be banned. The opposite is true. By not banning her we rob her of the opportunity to say she was treated unfairly and more harshly than other troublemakers.

If she continues to be a problem then we will continue to take action, although I do agree in that I would now be surprised to see her around, especially in Vent. I do expect that she will change her nick and play on the server thinking that we will not know it is her. She is free to do that and we are free to identify her when she does this.

I just want this to be as fair as possible. She broke clan rules, many of them. She should have been expelled and was. What happens next is up to her.

and posts concerning the subject at hand, will have no choice but to lay and sleep

As has been pointed out, this clan tends to drag things out. Think about it, would you want a vote like this to drag on and on for 2 weeks if it was you in the hot seat? I know I wouldn't. If the clan had a problem with me I'd want to get it over and done with one way or the other.

With your vote it would have been 14 to 5 and I know Boose would've made it 15 to 5 had he been able to vote.

So that's 10 more votes she would have needed just to make it a tie. JK's vote had a total of 23 so I seriously doubt there would have been a different outcome had it gone on longer.

Shoot yout opinions here are always welcome, as are any of the members. If you go back through this thread, and other threads about Lovely here in the forum, you will see there have been people complaining about her since she was a recruit. We took a lot of things into consideration before deciding to move forward with an action as serious as removing her from the clan. She honestly had countless warnings and numerous Vent conferences. I myself spent several hours over 9 months talking to her about the way she played and got along here. There was no significant change. The many hours she spent sitting in Vent and on the server started to draw a lot of players that had an axe to grind with her as well as driving off some long time guests who were tired of her antics. When confronted about her behavior she was ( and is...) in complete denial. I'm not saying she was never a victem. There were times she was revenged and assaulted like the rest of us. That still did not excuse her transing across an entire map and assaulting her way back into her favorite spot on any given map.

I found her likeable but the big picture is she was bad for the clan.

I say penalize her! It really does not matter to me. I only play on the server when it is fun and fair. I am tired of the same maps, same people have there spots.. it is not fun. We need to revamp. It is our society, so if you let this stuff happen for to long, indeed people will leave. I spend time on the BA server. I am mad at the clan as a whole!!!!!!
