Actually, it took several months for me to put that skin up for Jasmine.

There is a serious problem with the sniper server right now. Any time I try to add anything to it, the server times out. This is an odd problem indeed. There has been 2 attempts in the past to add something new and I was unsuccessful in doing so. I tried to add the skin you requested today and the same problem popped up. As things stand now, I can add maps and nothing else.

The last thing I added to the server before the problems started was the no close kill mod, so that is what is suspected to be the problem right now.

I am currently working on the freon server. When that is done I will make a clone of the sniper server and then start the troubleshooting process and see what I can do.

Anything that anybody wants added to the sniper server will have to wait until this is resolved.

So how about some new maps then? I haven't seen any new maps on the server since I've been playing here. If space is an issue, I bet I could find a dozen or so that are either duplicates or more suited for Run & Gun. I've taken the time and effort to find the new maps so I would appreciate if it would be at least considered.

He'll need the zip or rar with all the files for each map not just told the name on another server. Why not find them all to download and link them so we can try them and see, maybe have a thread on them?

I sent him a dvd with all the maps and such for the CTF server 😉

It's not that big of a deal to get them, it was just a low priority. I always have something to do server-wise.

After downloading the maps off of a game server I run a cache cleaner. Then I use a utility called UT Map Manager that will bundle all of the files of a map into a zip file. I wish there was a tool like this for UT2004.

I have all of the maps on the list from the C-Ops server already. I just need to get into the KAUT server when it is empty and do the same there.

However, already I see that one of the maps is a problem. The Pond map that you want is a map that was on our server and since removed due to being too small and a run-fest promoter.

I'll add the maps and then you guys can tell me if they should stay or go.

Right you are T, everyone would fight to get control of that secret platform that you got into through an underwater bunker. That became the sole focus of playing that map because you could dominate from there.

it could actually be great camping map if someone with map making skills took the time to modify it a little and remove the secrets and add a few more places to hide.

When I was researching the maps, I was usually on by myself and had to envision gameplay versus actually playing them. If there's a bad layout with the Pond map, then by all means deep-six it.

That KAUT server is empty most of the time during the day. Anytime I do see people on it, it's usually their clan members at night.

I was originally shooting for 20 new maps but don't know if there's enough out there that fit our playing style and/or worth pursuing.

In case you haven't noticed, I have added all of the maps from the C-Ops part of the list (except Pond) as well as 2 other maps that looked interesting. They are dark city deluxe and future city. Let me know if the last 2 are any good.
