I still do but just not as often, I got married in April so my gaming time has changed drastically...... 😀

im up for anything you have in mind tommy. its just not our server that is quiet. I watch the server and go through the populated server list also and between 3am and 6am it has gone quiet also so any ideas will be great. :snipe:

UT99 is all I play. No time to learn new stuff and it suits me fine.

I normal hop on the server about 2-3 times a week but normally at different times

Smaller list than I thought there would be. But i think some people just haven't seen the message. Feel free to add people to this list and then I will contact them if I can.

Here is the deal. When DOU was new, there wasn't a lot of traffic on our server. Rather than go to other servers and play, I just stayed on our server. By doing this I increased the traffic on our server (and did a lot of recruiting). So I am thinking we can do the same thing again.

What I propose is that we get a list of volunteers and then assign each person a night where they go to our server and play, with or without anyone else. Then if someone is looking through the server browser for somewhere to play, they will see someone on our server and go there to play. The rest is domino effect.

Remember,people prefer to play on populated servers. Otherwise, they wouldn't come online.

Here is what I am thinking first. We need one volunteer to be here at least 2 hours one night a week. I was thinking 7 - 9 PM EST but I guess instead each volunteer can pick the time where they have the best chance of doing a few hours. It does need to be evening though so use 7 - 9 as a rough guideline. This is just the beginning of this, we will work it all our as we go. Post below if you can pick up a shift and I will edit this to reflect that:

If we have people who play enough, it would be great for people to volunteer 2 days. Then some nights we can double up. Better for you guys, better for people coming in. But we need to fill the days first. Weekends especially. And just because you are not scheduled for that day, it doesn't mean you can't play on another day too. It does mean that you should only play if you will still make it to your own shift.

Those who can play on more than one day, please wait to volunteer for a second spot until we have filled everything up first. That way we can start doubling up.

Now the harsh reality of this. On Game Tracker we are listed as 42nd. However, for camping servers, we are 1st. There is no more popular server for us to steal traffic from. There are however a bunch of servers below us, some close in rank. We need to destroy those servers. After traffic picks up (this will work btw) we can lighten up on the schedule, but we may possibly never be able to get rid of it. We'll see.

Anyway, start posting if you can take a shift and I will build a schedule. If any of this is unclear just post and I will do my nest to explain.
