12 Week Recruitment Period

Starting September 27th 2007, new recruits Will go through a 12 week recruitment period.

Please note these other changes to the recruit process:

1) Sponsors will need to get their recruits set up in Ventrilo as we are also going to set up an open conference at the start of the recruit period to get to know our prospective members. If Ventrilo is not an option for the recruit, another method will be found.

2) Tommy will be setting up a forum area that will only be accessible to Clan members and recruits. The DOU vs. DOU part of the forum will be moved to this area. The recruit will gain access to this area 4 weeks into the recruitment period.

3) At 8 weeks there will be a conference at which only Tommy, at least one recruitment officer, the sponsor and recruit will attend. This will be for a discussion on how things are going and to address any issues or questions involving the recruit.

The final week will remain the vote week.

PROSPECTIVE SPONSORS:

DOU needs to have more involvement between the sponsor and recruit to make sure the rules are being followed and to handle questions from the recruit. Please try to set up some playing time at least once a week and don't be shy about correcting the recruit's actions.
