I'm gonna vote no fer two reasons, sportsmanship and what I've read in this post. DOU needs no spys or bad attitudes. this is my 2 cents and thats all its worth...

This is the first time I've had to do this and hopefully it will be the last.

Here is a copy of the PM I just sent to Chains informing him of the membership vote.

"Hello Chains,

I am sorry to inform you that you were not voted into DOU.

The 2 main things that went against you in the vote were sportsmanship issues and that you have been observed spending far more time with another clan than with DOU in recent weeks.

Even though you were not admitted to DOU you remain welcome on our servers and the non-member areas of the forum.

You will be re-eligible to submit an application to DOU after 3 months have passed if you still wish to join us.

If you have any questions please contact myself or Tommy via PM.

Not the nicest thing that you have to do but some people will just not make it and someone has to send that Email. I dont think he will hold it personally against you, and I think he will be wearing a FUN tag shortly. 😈

I would have voted no but did not get a notice of the vote.

Cygnus, is there a notice still being sent out when there is a vote ? If so... I am not getting it.

Even though I had not played with him in a while, I expect he is still the same. Poor sportsmanship (IMO) is not a learned behavior but a charachter deficit. I don't think he is ( was...whatever) DOU material.

You have to have access to the Administration Panel to do mass mailings. If you don't, clear it with Tommy and he, I or any other admin can give you that access.

#1 - Yeah, don't rely on mail being sent out. Clan members should be frequenting the boards, that is a responsibility of membership. We'll do it when we remember to do so, but that is no guarantee.

#2 - Yeah, I can give you access. But I want to run a few things by you first so that we don't end up mass-spamming the general forum members.

#3 - I haven't seen Chains around anywhere. Has he even read his PM yet? He is a bit of a loud mouth so I expected some minor drama to result from this.

I better tone it down a little.

I got used to seeing notices about votes, they used to come like clockwork.

I had assumed they were sent out By Cygnus, must have been you T.

Whatever the case, they did help me a lot, especially when I get busy with work. It's not a lack of interest, it's a lack of time.

😯 my life is to messed up right now to make any choice ,one way or the other , need to get my on act together first . I spend most of my time at the doctors office trying to get better, old age is pure hell . 🙁
