The vote was held and he didn't get in. His recruit period has been extended and I sent him the following pm:

Your vote is completed and you were not admitted into DOU at this time.

The main reason for this is because most members feel you have not made much of an effort to participate in the clan.

I agree with this opinion.

-You never made an effort to get to know most of those who would be voting on you.

-We require recruits to post an introduction on the forum and I personally asked you to do this on ventrilo one night.

-The last month of your recruitment seen very little participation from you in ventrilo or the servers. If there was something that came up that was keeping you from participating, you didn't let us know.

As a part of the voting process, members have the option to admit you into the clan, not admit you into the clan or extend your recruit period.

We chose to extend your recruit period. This will give you another chance to show you want to participate in the clan without having to wait 3 months before you can re-apply and go through the who 12 week period again. Another vote will be held about 4 weeks from the last one. An extension will not be an option at the re-vote.

If you're serious about DOU, I would suggest you interact with the other clan members on the servers, ventrilo and especially the forum. An introduction post would be a great start. You might find that you like what you have been missing out on. And if you try it and decide it's not for you, you can always withdraw your application and you'll still be welcome as a guest.

I haven't heard back fron Aviel_Nick but the pm I sent was picked up so he knows what is expected of him.
