OK, I've talked with him and hes out of internet right now.

I guess the high winds knocked it out and now hes in a fight with his ISP because they are making him pay for the time his connection was out. He still wants to join, but doesn't know when he will be up and running again.

So I guess we have to wait around.

We can hold off on his vote until he's back for a couple weeks. That should give him enough time to re-aquaint himself with people here.

Maybe Bonk could ask Northern Crow if that's fine with him.
