NEW RECRUIT POLL

So far we have a 12 Week recruit period being heavily favored over a six week by a 12 to 2 vote count. Our present 4 week period has recieved no consideration.

I would like to have any changes to be made ready to go and in place by Tuesday, May 1st so if there is any other changes someone would like to bring up for discussion now is the time to do so.

Well, I am embarrassed to admit it but I accidentally voted for 6 weeks when I wanted to vote for 12. For what it is worth... 😳

Well, looks as though the membership has spoken, It was almost unanimous with Jarg changing his vote.

Jet's recruitment period started before the date I had hoped to have the new 12 week period in place.

We can't hold a recruit to a 12 week period until the recruitment form ( http://clandou.com/membership.html ) is updated. That is a change I cannot make.

No, I didn't recieve one for Jet. I don't recall ever sending a mass PM to anyone for a recruit vote before although someone else may have in the past.

I have always received an e-mail letting me know it was time to vote in the past. I was not sure of the sender because, usually, I just clicked the provided link and voted. If that was not you or Chicken, it must have been Tommy.

I'm just trying to figure out if I am the only one who didn't receive a notice. It obviously didn't hurt the vote any. I would just like to know when things change. My work schedule is very irratic and I am not always afforded the time to keep up with all the DOU goings on.

I'm taking the announcement tag off this since it appears nothing will be done about this in spite of an overwhelming clan vote in support of a 12 week recruit period.

By all means gents, let's get this done. With the popularity of the server growing like it is, there will be a flood of new recruits comming.

This will definitly help separate the keepers from the A -holes.
