I love playing a wide range of computer games.Spending time playing with

my kids. I graduated DeVry University in ACET with a 3.65 GPA.I live in

Osawatomie, Kansas but i am origanly from Louisianna.

Skills...............: I have no formal training with any software. I am

mainly a hardware person. However I have been working on my own computers

(which there are 5 of in my house right now) for15+ years. I also was a GM

on several DAoC servers which once I learned the basic comand structure i

was able to adapt them iorder to make events for ingame play and adjust

the DB.

Questions............: I was told that you had to have a sponser wich I

dont have however in the form i read about joining it said thatI can apply

without one. Is this true?

Anythingelse.........: I would like to give Chefgeek mad props if not for

him I would not even know of this clan or be here. He helped me setup TS

and get on clan website so i could introduce myself. I have talked with

alot of DOu and dou-r members on TS and you all seem like a great bunch of

people. Well Done!!!!

Only one wife? Do you have a mistress? Im asking cuz i think part of DOU's criteria is that you have more then one women in your life.

Not sure if this is something that bears watching but I was on the map Deadwood tonight and I arrived in one of the buildings and went into a defensive crouch while trying figure out what part of the map I was in. I noticed Chains was picked off by someone and I heard a spawn outside the building I was in. Shortly after that I heard a couple of trans attempts real close and it finally came in through the window I was next to. Chains materialized, (spawn protection was gone), and ran to the back of the room I was in. He turned and then crouched when he saw me. I fired and got the kill.

He then typed "cheap kill" and also accused me of spawn killing. I wasn't real pleased with that. Especially after he popped me on two occaisions in the grass shortly after I lost the spawn protection. It was frustrating to get popped like that in grass but that to me is part of the game. Sometimes you are going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time after spawning. Hope he figures that out soon.

If I had to vote today, I would have to say "no". But there's still plenty of time to change my mind. I'll wait and see if anything else happens.

Must admit he has called cheap kill and the like on me a couple of times and told me I was tracking him as he spawned maybe his sponser can have a word and just try to get him to calm it. I like chains seems like a decent enough guy but if he try's it to many times he may upset the wrong person. 😈

This has always been a question on my mind. I am under the *assumption* that after the spawn protection wears off, you are fair game. I have seen many times that someone calls "spawn kill" after the protection wears off, but in my mind, you had your 7 seconds. If you can't get to a hiding place fast enough, then that is your problem.

Can someone clarify this for me please?

IMO, a spawn kill is when you guard a spawn point or follow a player while they are under spawn protection for the purpose of an easy kill.

I was going to be the first ( I thought ) to say something negative about chains and to my surprise there is a line forming.

THE GUY WHINES 👿 , I mean like a 3 year old. He loves it when he wins a map ( don't we all...) but when He loses.... , it's " I'm tired of all the spawn killing , I'll come back when it stops ". Darkmatter was there with me this afternoon when he did it again.

The first time I ever saw Him he complained that I picked a map ( Sanford and Son ) just so I could win it. I told him somtimes I win, sometimes I don't, I just like the map. He argued with me for a while and ( you guessed it ) left.

This is NOT the kind of people I want to play with.

sorry i havent been in the game lately so that i could help out with these issues. I will talk to him if i see him tonight. But at this point I think my talking to him might be "mute"? Sounds like the damage is done and not sure if things can be reconciled with some of you .. If so let me know.
