Yesh...we reduced the amount of time for the recruitment process, but we should not reduce our expectation in what we want for new members. This process goes both ways...while we have a lot to offer the new members, in return we expect them to be active with us. Otherwise it's just us handing them a tag. This really doesn't benefit us.

The point I am making is that we should not spend too much time going after people who have little interest in participation. I'd rather we find one or two new good members than have ten members in name only.

Ut 99 is pretty tapped out in the way of "fresh meat" these days, its pretty much a group of old school freelance players that are happy doing their own thing, nothing wrong with that except who will they moan too when there are no servers left, the game may not be totaly dead but i think the recruitment side is burnt out these days, like tommys says, 2 good solid members over 10 names, the problem with whose left on the ut99 servers are just names theae days, alot are still using old xp based machines and have no plan to upgrade or play other games. We need to move to the present day for our new recruits, where fresh players are arriving by the day, and fuck cod.

I sent him an email:

I haven't seen him much, but I would believe him as given what he does he has probably been overloaded at work. He's in the HVAC business and this time of year traditionally they are working overtime keeping furnaces running, particularly where he is.

I think we're coming up on eight weeks here tomorrow. What's the latest?
