SPONSOR NEEDED for SubZero

For some reason when I edited the above post, it didn't update the date. The post was made a few days ago, not in March!

Um, for some reason I am thinking that this sub zero guy is our old ......**cough....buddy** duke nuke em. I seen the guy on the server the day he signed up on the board and I swear it is him. He kept buggen me about my skaarj skin. I also seen Duke (if it was the same DukeNukem 🙄 ) on another server (could have been lol or suf ❓ ) with some other clan initials in front of his name. So, maybe some investigative work needs to be done B4 someone sponsors this kid.

I'm going to go ahead and sponsor him. Then during his month I will get close enough to him to find out if he is for real or not.

I PM'ed XerXes and he is going to reply to the form and get some additional information. There is a lack of I.P. evidence right now but I do know that DukeNukem was a customer of bellsouth. So once subzero posts I can grab his ip and do a traceroute.

Unfortunately the server log didn't record his ip either. I think that was the servers fault though, I am investigating it.

In the mean time I think we shouldn't treat him as a hostile until we have a reason to do so. Cautious yes, but lets give him the benefit of the doubt until we know more.

I forgot about the form used by people who are interested in joining. It did log SubZero's I.P. address.

So here is what I know...

1 - In the form, in the previous clans area he did list dou...and duke was a former recruit.

2 - In the anything else area he wrote "Tommy hook me up" and I remembered that duke had a hard on for me when he was a recruit last time. He used to actually get annoyed when he would come on line and I wasn't around. Thats what caused me to get annoyed with him as well. I'd get these annoying PM's from him pretty much demanding that I be on the server more often.

3 - The most interesting...on the old boards he is listed as a bellsouth subscriber. SubZero's I.P. resolves to BellSouth.

This leads me to believe that he is in fact DukeNukem. So I think this all needs to be straightened out before we go any further. If it is Duke I can tell you from personal experience that he is about as annoying as they get. Also, he did tell me that he was 9 years old at the time, making him 9 or 10 now. This is too young, as we have all agreed and it is stated in our membership requirements. Also, if so, this means that he lied on the membership application form as he indicated on it that he was 13 or above. Lying on the form I would think would be immediate grounds for dis-qualification for membership.

I recommed that XerXes ask him out-right if he is DukeNukem. If it needs to go further I can attempt to contact the other clans he was associated with and see what they have to say.

Also, a huge kudos goes out to Bison for nailing both Razor and Duke in their latest attempts to come back. Some pretty sharp deduction there!
