Sponsors...

I've seen some problems with recent recruitments where there seems to be little or no communication between the recruit and sponsor. I'm not implying or inferring any sponsor is neglecting his or her recruit. I'm just saying there needs to be a better communication flow betwen them to be sure we as a clan are doing our best to help the recruit fit in at DOU. That also means EVERY member of DOU, not just the sponsor bears some responsibility to help recruits along. If something needs addressing, post it in the recruit's thread. In the long run it usually helps everyone out and prevents minor problems from getting out of hand.

I'm going to try and get some kind of stock questions set up that can be sent to both Sponsor and recruit every few weeks to hopefully expose any unvoiced concerns and show some participation by the recruit. I'll post any replies in the recruit thread. If the sponsor takes it upon themselves to do a progress update in the recruit thread, awesome! It'll save me the trouble.

Until I get the questions set up, I'll just be asking for news on each recruit in their individual threads.
