I will watch the boards to see when he is informed of this. Perhaps we should change the password to the practice server late Saturday night. As for the FN stuff, he has no access to the Omega team other than viewing the standings.

Omega Captains, I assume that Tanner will not be a part of the team when voted out?

A person is not required to be a clan member to be on a team in the FN 5 vs 5 ladder. Is the 2 vs 2 ladder clan only?

Not required according to FN rules. Should we let him continue on our team? With the army of new folks and the current army, maybe we shoul make it so that only DOU, dou-r and dou-m players are allowed on the FN team(s).

I stated from the beginning that this ladder would be members / recruits only. Thus the whole "private clan ladder" thing.

I have played and talked with Tanner a few times. TOO MUCH INFO all of the time. Too much drama also. Good enough player but lacking in the needed social graces to be here I think. No vote from me.

Hello Tanner,

This part of my responsibility at DOU is something I dislike having to do.

You did not pass the vote to gain membership to the clan.

Everyone who voted no for you was required to explain their vote. This is a rule for clan members.

Virtually everyone who voted against you did so because of the way you would get upset when you thought someone wasn't playing by the rules. You made attempts to enforce rules while being a recruit even after being warned against doing so.

It is also felt that much of this stemmed from situations in which you were losing or if someone in particular was getting the best of you. While it is just being human to get frustrated sometimes while playing, we cannot allow someone (especially a recruit who would have more power if he became a full member) to make accusations against other members and guests if he doesn't have the proof or is able to see the whole situation.

We get quite enough rule breakers without creating more. You have to be a bit flexible with people and you have to be very sure before telling someone they are breaking a rule. I'm not saying every accusation you made was innaccurate. But there were times when you accused someone of something while they were being spectated and you were wrong. This is something that reflects badly on the clan and takes much of the camaraderie and fun out of being here.

Since you are no longer a recruit, you are ineligible to play in the 2 vs 2 ladder and you may no longer wear a DOU tag.

Please keep in mind that even though you did not make it into the clan, you are still welcome as a guest on the servers, forum and ventrilo.

You are also eligible to re-apply for membership after 3 months have passed.

He pm'd me about the 5 vs 5 and I told him as far as I know he should be able to play. I told him to check with it with Tommy since he knows more about the FN stuff than anyone.

He also did thank us for giving him the chance to join DOU and that he expected to fail in the vote so it wasn't a shocker for him. He seems to be handling it well. Hopefully the problems we feared will go unrealized.
