The practice server has been fixed.
It ended up being a port conflict where 2 things were fighting for the same port. Weird actually that it worked for awhile (the problem should have existed from the start) and then clashed.
Anyway, it's up and running and the same as before, nothing is changed (I changed the port for the other app).
