Team Speak Situation

Let me get you guys up to speed with the Team Speak situation...

We originally had Team Speak from Escaped Turkey. Then he discontinued the servers and we were shit out of luck.

Deathstar heard that we were looking for a server and offered to let us use a spare server they had until it's term ran out, which should be March of this year.

Well, some problems occured between the company hosting the Team Speak server and the data center. I guess the data center just decided to charge for bandwidth (which they didn't do in the past) without saying anything. So the hosting company all of a sudden gets this extra bill for 2500. Welps, they are refusing to pay it. So the Data center has just locked down everyones control panels. So all the game servers and TS servers are still running but nobody can modify anything, etc. It looks like this is not going to end well either, and we should expect our TS server to go poof any time.

So I was getting ready to do damage control on this. It looked like we would have to have another fund drive to make sure we'd be ok (anything more then a 10 man TS server is expensive) for even the short term.

But I had an idea. I went to Turkey and asked him if it would be possible for him to just run 1 TS server on a box for us. Since he is such a great guy, it should come as no surprise that he said yes.

So I am hoping that there will be no break in service, but f there is between the time our server goes down and the time Turkeys goes up, we can meet at the fraggednation.com server. I believe the address is ts.fraggednation.com:9000 but I will check to make sure.

Hopefully I will have a new address for all of you soon and this will go smoothly. We will see. When you guys see Turkey in Team Speak please be sure to say thank you to him.
