I am in the process of building two websites, a temporary one and a permanent one. The temporary one as you may guess will be in place until the final site is ready.
The temporary site is not great (and still being put up itself), but it will serve it's purpose while we work on the final site (that will look completely different.)

Just an update...
I am in fact still working here. Since I have the time I am looking at Wordpress as a possible alternative to Joomla. I am not saying I like it more or less, just that since I have the time I am looking at both.
They both have strengths and weaknesses, but Wordpress have a fuck-load more plugins going for it. This is what caused me to want to look at it.

The advantage of Wordpress would be that others could help you out with the design, so you don't have to do it all by yourself. It's much easier to learn than Joomla imo.
I am also looking at a program called artisteer and another called themler. Know anything about them?

Don't know 'Aristeer'.
The one you call 'Themler'... aren't you confused with 'Tumblr' ? (*edit No you're not)
Another one to look at would be 'Blogger'.

Themler or Wordpress would maybe more suitable.
Yeah, O.K., what I thought. Blogger is a canned site type of thing.
With Artisteer and/or Themler, you still have to build a full site. But, yes, that is better.
