Greetings,
This is from the clan officers and admins at Clan DOU.
We are sending this because we recognize there is a language difference between our 2 clans, so we have asked one of our recruits to translate and post this so we can be sure you understand.
Many of your members have been comming to our server and breaking our server rules for a long time now. Several of them have been warned many times and then kicked from the server by our admins for refusing to listen to our warnings.
The following is a list of your members found breaking our rules.
Lamu, Pepe, Matador, Gato, Snake, and Loco.
Loco just earned himself a weeks ban for chasing down Players / spawners, running, and assaulting. He has been kicked 5 times in the last 6 months. He also called one of our admins a "Puto" after being warned.
I wonder how you would deal with a player who came to your server and spoke to your admins that way ?
We are a CAMPING server, not a FREESTYLE server. There are a lot of really great freestyle servers you can visit if you are looking for that style of play.
Below is a list of our server rules, if you want to play on our server, you must follow these or you will no longer be welcome.
1) No running - this is a camping server. It's ok to run to a place to hide. It is ok to walk crouched. Do not run/trans from one place to another looking for kills, that is freestyle and not allowed here.
2) No revenging - Do not return to where you were just killed to pick up an easy kill. You may revenge from a distance ONLY, Use your scope. If you respawn in the same place you were just killed, move to a new place.
3) No assaulting - DO not rush another players position to shoot them, kill from a distance. Sometimes you will enter an occupied room accidently and have to fight for your life, we understand this. If you do it over and over, you are assaulting and will be dealt with.
4) No spawnkilling - everyone has 7 seconds of spawn protection comming in to the game, use it to find a place to hide.
a) DO NOT use spawn time to sneak up behind/beside someone
b) DO NOT shoot at someone while YOU are spawning, you will die.
c) DO NOT shoot at someone else who is spawning, you will die
d) If you are spawning and you enter an occupied area/spot YOU are reponsible to leave and find another spot, NO exceptions
e) If someone who is spawning enters an area you are in THEY must leave. LET THEM! Do not chase after them for an easy frag, let them go.
5) No camping near (or in) teleporters, elevators, or lifts.
6) ALWAYS listen to ALL server Admins and speak to them respectfully. Failure to do so will result in being kicked, or even permanently banned from the server.
These are our rules, Learn them, you are responsible for knowing them, especially now that we have made you aware of them. If they don't agree with you there are plenty of other places you can play.
The only member of your clan to follow our rules is The Generator. He is a good and respectfull player, but if the rest of your clan does not begin to follow them as he does, we will ban your entire clan from our server, permenently.
We hope the problem has been you not understanding and this will be the last time we will have to warn anyone from Clan Geof.

I say give them 3-5 days to read this then they get a ban for breaking rules we went out of our way to make sure they understood...

I couldn't think of a way to make it any easier for her to translate.
If they don't get this it's because they don't care.
If they don't care then ban the lot of them I say.

There should be an exception if the teleporter, elevator, or lift leads to an area that has no other exit and the player is not to be spending the entire time with his crosshairs on the teleporter, elevator, or lift. There are many maps that have places like that.
I will change it to:
5) No camping in teleporters, elevators, or lifts. Do not even camp near them unless the teleporter, elevator, or lift leads to an area that has no other exit and even then the player is not to be spending the entire time with his crosshairs on the teleporter, elevator, or lift.

Didn't think of that, good improvement Cyg. In Psycho City ( not on our server I don't think) there is a tower where the elevator takes you and it's this tiny area where there's no way to get more than a couple of feet from it, even if you wanted to. I'm sure we could think of a dozen or more maps where that would apply.

There's also at least one where it is designed to snipe the elevator. The top of the slanted one in "In My Eyes". If someone goes there I wouldn't have an issue with it.
Hopefully they dont just come back with aliases and run the same shit to think they are pulling a fast one. I for one and sick of the shit and if I see one of them do anything they aint suppose to they are getting the boot. It ruins it for our members and our guests.
If push comes to shove, Tommy will probably just ban their whole ip range like he did because of Roy.
The down side is that you end up banning others you intend to as well but sometimes you haven't a choice.

True, that platform was clearly designed with that in mind.
As a general rule, I believe the spirit of the thing is to give less experinced players a chance while keeping it from being too easy to rack up frags for the more experienced players.

I kicked matador for constant running i told him to read our rules posted on either ours or there forum, but i think he was running just to show he would i think he wants to get banned....

I looked on the forum, didnt see anything from any name I recognized (from here). Was looking for any responces they may have had.
