There is a rule regarding playing with an alias but it only applies to members.

DOU members may not play under a different name or without their tag on a DOU server.

I can't think of any server that tells people they have to use the same name to play under.

Is HE playing with an alias or are there multiple people playing at his location! like brothers sisters or his kids even ??????????

I hope that the reason for DOU members using their name and tag is obvious.

As for other people, as long as they aren't causing problems they are free to do what they want. I know for a fact that some DOU members use different nicks on other non-clan servers.

Correct you are Tommy, i did not even know this was gutwrench when I gave him the boot. If I had known I might have delt with it differently.

but he was abusing the name change and assaulting other players, and just blew me off when i said something. I don't think he knew I had admin privliges. Now he knows.
