We are acting like this is some sort of court room melodrama when the truth is IT IS A GAME! I remember one time when I got really worked up over it and took it WAAAAAY to seriously. Most of the senior members will remember that too. I quit the clan in a huff, only to realize that I was the dunce. After reality set in, I thought "How stupid can I be? It is only a game."

R-Mad, I really don't know you that well, other than what you post here. You seem to be a very level headed, intelligent person and I respect your opinions. If you feel that you have been disrespected enough for you to quit the clan, then I am truly sorry. I hope that you will reconsider that decision after your anger has had time to go away.

I too talk to TKK on a regular basis and the ones I talk to think we don't take care of these problems fast enough. But on the other hand I never have defended cheaters or runners, I simply try to respect people and their rights to defend themselves in the forum. You and other Members have the ability to crush any response, with rude and discourteous statements... that is not infer that you are racist, because you and others do that all the time with all: canadians, americans, mexicans, etc. So, that opinion about racism, was your phrase.

RMAD-I can't decide if you really don't understand the nuances of english, or if you understand them really well and are deliberately misunderstanding. I think maybe you really don't understand what we are saying, you just pick out some parts of what we say and focus on that and then say we don't understand. Saying that we crush the responses is just ludacris. When we talk rudely to people like mimetic or =& that have repeatedly told us to fuck off and other unfriendly things, sure we might talk to them in the same manner. That doesn't stop them responding right back. It's not a big deal. No one has been saying those things to you. You really have been coming off lately as someone that thinks we're all stupid.

If you think abberation is such a whiner, how about =&? He's sure having fun making up and forgetting things in his thread. Go call him a whiner. You call us a lynch band, how many times should someone get do to the same thing before they are punished? If someone slaps you in the face for over a year and keeps saying "No I never did" then you just keep letting them do it? Did you see all the threads that have happened over him? This reminds me of repeat spousal abuse...

Abb tried to explain that you may have the wrong idea about him, and tries to say something nice even, you just ignore that and show that you either totally didn't understand the sentence, or you really are prejudiced. He said it WAS NOT BECAUSE OF WHERE =& IS FROM. WE DON"T CARE WHERE HE IS FROM. We care how he plays, not where he was born.

Jarg is right, we are taking this way to serious. I wouldn't even care that much if there weren't people saying that our words and being members doesn't mean anything. Being a member here is something I take pride in, that's why I try to make the game better for people on the server. When people don't know the rules I explain them. Most of them learn pretty fast, it doesn't take them over a year. When people are quitting because of what a player is doing, then that player needs to go if they won't learn.

Sure I would love if he really was cleaning up his act. He has camped better, but I still see him shooting people in the face on purpose. He won't do it when he thinks he is being spectated, RMAD is right about one thing he's not stupid. A while back on a SUF map I saw him run up a street chasing a spawner and shoot him point blank. I was up high trying to aim down, I shot at them both and got him after he got the other guy. That guy didn't complain, he just disconnected. That's what happens a lot, people just get mad and shut the game off. You won't see anything on the webadmin that shows what happened. People just give up and quit.

I think that some of the problem is that not everything that happens on the server ends up in the forum. A lot of what happens is heard in Vent, something R-Mad does not participate in so she, and others, only know what they see posted. There are many times we disscuss events as they are happening but after we leave Vent they are only disscussed with a few people. I think this contributes to people believing certain members are over reacting or upset for no reason, they only know half the story.

The person who sponsored me during my recruitment, was a very polite person and wrote to me a very large letter exposing me some kind of duties, rights and values he considered necessary accomplish to be a good member.

Between the duties: to be respectful all the time.

Between the rights: to say what I am thinking freely.

Between the values: to be loyal to the clan.

is in the use of my rights that I may differ from your opinions

and I hope to be respected without being accused of having little friends, defend cheaters and other accusations that often I receive...

I'm loyal with the clan because I am concerned about the problems inside it all the time. A clan must be an intelligent organization not a claque.

I'd say you insulted quite a few of us, allthough it is difficult to tell exactly who. Whiners sure, but I do not believe we have any liars or cheaters in DOU, just people whose experiences, opinion, and style of expression are different from yours.

It is also the use of our rights that we may differ from your opinions which is what has happened here, that's no reason to quit. Several times I have disagreed with the outcome of a vote or the opinons expressed by others. That will always happen no matter where I am or what I do because each of us is different and unique.
