Recently we have had several cheaters. We need a few more of our memebers to have the ability to kick. I have come in and fellow members will tell me that they are happy that I showed up to kick someone. They feel so helpless.
I have been kicking and kicking. Fortunately, the other night, Razor was there to witness a cheater and banned him immediately. Felt good.
What do you all think?

I'm all for it.....we could use more people with the power to enforce the rules.
I know what it felt like to be powerless in dealing with these jerks.
I'd be happy to set up some more members with what they need to know as long as Tommy's fine with it.
Once I build up some more rapport with everyone I would be happy to help out. I have experience running several UT servers on dedicated boxes over the years. It does kinda suck when you run into this kind of thing. Even the other players start asking any DOU member that may be on the server for help in dealing with the cheater and the cheater just laughs because he knows he is in the clear, since that person doesnt have kick/ban ability. there is nothing anybody can do at that point.

To my knowledge the ban ability is reserved for the super admin aka Tommy, the rest of us admins can only kick.
We have 3 times as many admins as this same time last year and its still not enough. This is starting to get ridiculous 😕
Pretty soon it will be like "Hey... my cheat's better than your cheat", about that time I'll be hanging up the game. 😡
