For some un-godly reason I neglicted to mention anything about cheating in the clan rules section. Most importantly, what happens when a clan member is caught cheating.
I am going to update the page ASAP with our policy.
To the best of my knowledge, this is what I think we all agree is the policy.
If any member is caught purposely running any type of cheat they will be immediately expelled from Clan DOU. This includes all servers, not just clan DOU servers.
That may sound harsh to some of you newer DOU members, but if we allow a known cheater to remain in the clan, it will instantly give clan DOU a very bad reputation. Also, imagine showing up for a clan or ladder match with {DOU}Cheater only to have the other clan refuse to play because he/she is a known cheater. Well, someone might suggest that we just keep the person out of matches and the like...well, they will still be on our servers where other people will then not want to play. And if we have all those headaches then what is the sense in having the person around anyway? Someone might say that he/she is a nice person though...nice enough to shit on the clan i'd say.
The 2 or 3 strikes and your out rule won't work either. Added to the above would be the fact that from then on, even if they weren't cheating every time the person made a great play or got a headshot, someone would call them a cheater...arguements, bad feelings, ruined clan rep...etc...we don't need this.
Anyway, I am going to be writing this up, but if anyone has anything to say, please do so.

I know why it's not in the clan rules, it's in the server rules. But I did mention in those rules that the person would be banned if found cheating on any server, not just dou.

Well, heres my 2 cents. I agree with Tommy. I think we should have a "zero" tolerence policy. I believe a cheat is not something you do, it is something you are. Nuff said, yO mAmA

To add to the cheat thing, I was going to pm T about Dukes (I think it was his?) post on the Powerstrip. Some say its a cheat (even though it technically isnt in my opinion) but if most think it is then that thread should go bye bye so people cant find it so easy 8)
Yeah, to be honest I guess I am not so sure what that utility does. If it is a tool of the l33t gamma hax0rs then it's not cool, but if it does nothing you can't do in game then it is ok I suppose. I don't run windows so I don't know.

I personally don't run anything that DUKE does or says to run on my computer...
I tried a PLUS PAK to MSN messenger once and it gave me soooo many pop-ups I had to reformat my PC.... they get soooo bad that the registry in windows gets flooded with them(hard to get rid of)...

Should get those coders to work and see if they can identify the cheaters by the set serial #'s in their CPU's.
