Clan {DOU} Security Officer Position Available

I am creating a new clan position and will consider the right volunteer for this job.

Basically, I am creating this position because due to my limited time I am very far behind )mother fucking very far behind) in dealing with all things security.

In order to be considered for this position you much have already demonstrated a willingness to start and stick to a project. You will also be required to learn new things as necessary to do your job.

To begin with, this person will be given access to the DOU website where every log file we have will be made available. Please understand that I am talking about thousands of files here. This includes every single sniper server log file since we started running our own box, as well as a boatload of cheatlogs. I cannot overestimate just how many cheatlog files have to be looked at. Actually, the number is a over 17,000. (There are methods of eliminating a vast amount of them that I will teach to the right person).

The job of course is to go through everything and then, once current, stay current. This involves learning what is a false positive and what is a legit cheat.

Preference will be given to older members first of course.

I planned to write a lot more here, but let's see who might be interested first.

Please remember that this position will require some time and a serious commitment. Once the backlog of logs have been taken care of the job will not require more than an hour or 2 a week. But be aware that it will be a hell of a job getting to that point.
