Please write your opinion about Conman ban in this topic:
This is mine:
I agree giving Conman an opportunity to come back to play our server after 30 days. I know him a lot of time and although I know he has had problems with other members I would not have had...
On the other hand he replied appropriately to his ban.
He replied appropriatly? I know he was on another server as DOU_Conman, he was drop imaging in that server and talking trash, i say he wore out his welcome.

Bull shit! He blatantly disregarded our rules for years then puts on our tag? Screw him...we voted....he's gone!!
In all fairness, I dont like the guy. I know the way he plays and I hate his gameplay. He will do anything for a kill. His most important goal seems to be winning the game instead of having fun. He never replies in a game like other players do. Not even a ‘thank you’ like most players do, or a ‘good shot’.
If he would be more talkative on the game and spoke to us on TS3 it could make some difference.
He’s on a permanent ban with an appeal process. For the fact that he did appeal for his ban I could decide to give him a chance, otherwise the given possibility to appeal on a ban could be considered worthless.
If he would make an introduction post and would be willing to talk to us on TS3 he might gain some trust…. Afterall it seems he wants to be a DOU member all of a sudden 🙄 The fact that he did use DOU in front of his name on another server didn't do his case much good I think.
Most important is that he will change his gameplay for the better and will follow the server rules closely. As long as he shows respect again for the clan and is sincere he might get on parole after 30 days. I do however have my doubts. My feelings are fifty/fifty on this.
I think the purpose of him wearing the DOU tag was to cause trouble on other clan servers and give us a bad name.

He has been a piece of shit for as long as I have been on the server.
Natan, I also do not do much talking during game play. If not for key binds most times I would say nothing. Does that make me an asshole (even though to some then answer is yes...Bison...lol )no it does not. He has had two years to prove himself, he has done so. Now that he cannot aggravate us any longer he chooses all of a sudden to become the bestis most wanted DOU member in the universe. He has shown us his true colors for a long long time. He has worn our tag blatantly and is in the process of giving us a bad if not worse name on other servers. This is not showing the want to become a member of the greatest clan in UT. It is a flagrant "stick it up your ass" to us.
If indeed his posting is the evidence of his appeal. He is a long long way from convincing me that he has good intentions.
As far as I know he is the first to even try to "appeal".
Even though we say they can appeal, we have no "official" appeal process.
I could care less as to if he wants to join DOU or not, you know how I feel about him. But we need to establish clear guidelines on how to appeal and move forward from there. We must do this without the usual DOU talk talk talk. We have finally banned someone who cares about the band and need to act both responsibly and proactively as soon as possible.

This is one of the problems i have with him, would hate to be taken for a sucker by his "l am wanting to be a great member" person.

Haven't had the pleasure of dealing with him recently so I'm good with the majority on his ban.
I would like to point out this guy has been coming here alot more than two years. Used to have run-ins with him when I first started admining and he was pulling the same shit back then.
I say keep the ban and if he does donate, refund it. Don't need anything from him except to stay away.
I played a lot of times against him, there were better and worse days. I think, that being our recruit he gets a chance to become a better player.
People are starting to appreciate what they have to lose. If he doesn't pass an exam as a recruit, he will be baned permanently. :smash:
P.S.
I don't want to defend Conman at all costs, but no one is without sin. Try to remember the case of GutWrench. He got the chance and took advantage of it. Now nobody should have a problem with him.
I agree, Conman should be punished - 30 days ban.
The next step, our agreement to his recruitment - as a form of rehabilitation for him.
We can give him the permanently ban at any moment, but then there will be no going back or else we will show our weakness as a clan.

I will try to set-up a procedure for the whole banning/appealing system and will post it in the days to come. It wont be perfect, but with the input from other members we will have something to work on and eventually something to work with.
