Deadline causing trouble

With all due respect - I think I may be missing something here.....

Is this guy a repeat offender of some rule that we want to initiate a vote?

I see that he was kicked once for R&G using the "Machamp" handle.

But just reading whats posted here I don't see where he was breaking any rules outlined in the UT 99 rules section.

I see that he was talking shit - but he wasn't using foul language, extreme disrespect or generating threats as far as I can tell.

Was he kicked for what is written here?

What am I missing?

And perhaps we should try to keep the threads under one name. Maybe just post the most recent activity (offense) with any aliases that may be used under the original thread so as not to confuse anyone.

No he was not kicked ,and yes it is against rules to harass other players, he was using foul language according to M@D_S.h.I.f.T.Y, but I did not see that.

I am simply stating this guy is a total swollen hemorrhoid and needs to be watched.

If I remember Otis your one of the many DOU members upset at all the shit on the server, some admins have been putting in a lot of time to clean it up for all of us.

Kewl - so he was not kicked - however the way it sounds from what you wrote above one might deduce that he was kicked for this event. I have read and re-read the rules for the 99 UT server and I am not seeing where it states that harassment is a kick-able offense. But then again - I am really not that bright and am usually wrong. But personally I don't see how what is said here really qualifies as harassment. It sounds like he is just talking shit and trying to get a rise out of another player. As for what he said before you got there - you really don't know - all you have to go on is what someone else reported. At the end of the day we can only really be sure of what we see written here.

And please don't get me wrong I am not accusing you of anything. I very much appreciate and so do most of our regulars - the fact that "Big Brother" is watching the server. As it may be - I currently work an average of about 60 hours a week and when I get on the server and its complete chaos it really really sucks. My concern lies in the idea that we may sometimes get a little too possessive and over-police. Which in turn makes us seem like whiners or overly judgmental resulting in more people coming in to simply wreak havoc for shear spite.

I still think that it would be better to keep one thread on each individual though.

I hope this all makes sense.

M@Ds are father and son, they are nice guys. I played for some time with them. They like the game on our server and caused me no problems so far.

Deadline is a malcontent and he has a self-importance. Not a bad player, but one of these guys, with which you don't love to play.

Our server is, if I remember rightly, 'a noobs server' for him. After those words I said him 'goodbye', but he stayed and shut up only. :nonono:
