Let him make an introduction at the forum and lets see what he got to say for himself.

The last time I had to speak to dj about his playing he said something like " What are you going to do ? KIck me again ? I'll just come back if I want to. " He is anything but sorry about his behavior. Only as much as it's an inconvenience to keep reconecting to the server when he is kicked.

You may believe I am making up my mind too quickly, but I have had more contact with dj than most of you. Seems to me he is only nice when he wants something. My position is no. He is not the type of player I would like to see in our clan

Thanks by the support NATAN... 😀 I hope that you are of those who can contribute new ideas and ways of doing our server more friendly and pleasant in the future, and not to depend only on the TKB strategy..

The experience of watching players make the same mistakes again and again changes how you see things. I can not count how many times I asked dj if he understood he was breaking the rules. That was not the frustrating part, it often takes time to convince players that they need to follow the rules here. The frustrating part, for me, is having them swear at you, call you names and tell you that they will do what they want. I am sorry if you believe I lack patience, in truth I try very hard to convince people they need to play by the rules. When someone shows me they do not respect me, and more important that they do not respect our server and it's rules, I see continuing to extend them courtesy as a waste of my time.

That's how I see dj. A waste of time. I will go with whatever the majority of the membership wants, but so far it seems most of DOU agrees dj is not worth the effort.

I fully agree with mAmA. His behavior has been worse than any member of geof. We've tried with him numerous times in the past and have kick banned and placed other bans on him as well. His use of a proxy server to circumvent those actions also shows what kind of a person he is. Not someone I would want wearing our tag.

I agree that he has gotten better, and he even listens to me when i ask him to stop doing something (he even apologizes! O.o)

But....

He still (in my opinion) has his bad history and moves way to much. And that wasn't very nice what he said to Mama.

I think you see someones true charachter (or lack of...) when they have the power to do what they want. dj knows we can't enforce a ban on him by conventional means. So what does he choose to do ? Honor and respect our server rules ? Be kind to his fellow players ? He does what he wants and what he does is break the rules. At least he has stopped being rude for the most part.

If he were to change the way he plays and the way he treats others in the server I would be open to changing my mind about him.

It might be good to get him to the forum just so we could open a dialogue with him but I do not want to promise him membership as way to lure him here. I don't think we should have to bribe him to behave, we don't do that for other guests that misbehave.

Soon as we kick him he changes IP and comes back right away. I think badman even did an ASC on him and he came back. If he was only using a certain range you could blackhole him like the other guys, not sure what his IPs were.

He did get slightly better for a while but he didn't stay that way very long. As said, when they know you can't keep them out they show their true colors.

He did make the comment once about being able to return anytime he wanted by using proxy servers. He could pop right back into a match after a kickban or asc ban.

Yup, I threw a kickban at him quite a while ago after he refused to accept being kicked for a map because of his running, assaulting, blah blah. He was back in a couple of minutes mocking me.
