I asked all players center screen to pick up trans, No dropping trans in center screen, the response I get from Rev is below.

he was kicked for this.

{DOU}Rev: fuck that, nothing rules against it as long as it isnt assault

He later came in with no tag and typed

> Rev: Ya know, people hate DOU. And i like to believe your shit admin is the reason. Anytime I am on any TS the rediculous claims that you make are brought anytime DOU is mentioned.

> (Event) Rev has disconnected from the server

Funny, we always seem to have a busy server for being such an unpopular clan.

As a matter of fact it's been busy that way for years.

People who don't like our rules are always free to play elswhere. No one is forcing anyone to come here and play.

Every admin that has ever volunteered their time to try and police our server has been accused of being drunk with power, myself included. It is a difficult job that requires endless patiience and for the most part is a completely thankless job.

I'm sure I've made a bad call or two over the years, nobody's perfect. The real point is those of us that give up our playing time to try and keep things fair on the server do it voluntarily! We don't get paid to do it and many times it means we are giving up our own playing time to help our fellow members and guests.

Do our Admins ever get a post thanking them for all they do? I've never seen one. I've seen an occasional thank you typed in-game on the server but thats about it.

I would expect guests to be unappreciative but members above all should understand, set a better example for others, and complain about it less.

When an admin in the server asks you to do something, roll with it. The forum is where you voice your concerns, not the server.

Its not a bad call or two, it is anytime I go in teamspeak.

Grubb goes on about a player and how he is just picking off people left and right and that there NO WAY he can just know where they are. Then when I go to f5 them, there is not a single probelm. They are simply keeping an eye on the hot spots of the map.

And was I not right? The ONLY time leaving a trans is against the rules is in the case of assualt. Feel free to click the Sniper Rules tab you dumbass. Your comment and kick were not justified.

And while focusing on me you COMPLETLY ignored the player Outlaw. He came back to revenge twice during the map.

Rev, You are incorrect about our rule regarding use of translocators....

8) No dropping trans to hunt or otherwise get a frag. This has come up many times recently and been the cause of many problems. Players that drop their trans disc to hunt will be kicked. If you want to run a few steps to get some boots or recover some health, fine. If an admin decides you are doing otherwise you will be booted. This is a camping server and we do not want that type of game play here.

In addition to that, you also violated another rule....

6) ALWAYS listen to ALL server Admins and speak to them respectfully. Failure to do so will result in being kicked, or even permanently banned from the server.

Please forgive me if I don't take what you said as gospel....especially if your observations about admins and what others think of them is as faulty as your grasp of our rules.

MAmA said it best...

"Funny, we always seem to have a busy server for being such an unpopular clan. As a matter of fact it's been busy that way for years."

And...

"People who don't like our rules are always free to play elswhere. No one is forcing anyone to come here and play."

The key phrase in that rule for me is ... "If an admin decides you are doing otherwise you will be booted."

This means if the admin that is spectating you, in their judgement, believes you are up to no good, they will kick you. It's discretionary.

Usually if you are kicked by an admin it is beacuse you did not repond to their warning. This is not a ban. You are able to, and free to, return the next map.

The thing for me is as a member you should respect the admins call even if you don't agree with it. You can always come to the forum to voice your account of what happened.

Rev you've been around us for a number of years now. You know we have a process here for dealing with things and that process doesn't include starting a drama on the server in front of guests because you believe you are being unfairly targeted by an admin.

If you don't like the rules at DOU go somewhere else, these rules are for guest and members, it's hard enough to get guest to follow rules but when they see members breaking them and then mouthing off to admins it makes it more difficult, grow up or get lost.

and comming into TS to type

<18:31:49> "Connor-Revisio": Your a piece of shit

is not going to get you any respect from me.

If you would take the time to read the fourm you would know Outlaw is close to being banned, I came into spectate because of complaints on TS of players dropping trans, yours was the first one I saw. And maybe you need to go read the rules so you don't get kicked next time you come to play.

NUKER Here,

Rev instead of arguing over dropping your xloc you should have come to TS3 & told us about Outlaw. We are aware of his crap & try to monitor him as much as possible. He also plays as Battle_Fatigue & Snipes. Arguing with you over the xloc distracted us from watching him.
