Sorry mAmA, I beg to differ on 2 to go. There was 1 from me and 1 from Abb, should be 1 more to go. If these folks are just plain stupid or don't want to read our RULES let alone visit the DOU site then how much shit do we have to take to have a decent game. Lately as I have said in the past is that we don't have admins on and that is ok as we all have lives outside of UT. It is just frustrating to see our guests have to say something to the likes of he/she is Assaulting or R&G to me and what can I do or the likes of some others is Sweet F A. I had asked Darkmatter if I can have some sort of Admin rights and he said no as Tommy had said to him(no more), I respect that and I won't be asking again. Lately we are getting new players which is good, though it does not set a good example when others flaunt our rules. 🙄

Lately I am on the server everytime between 5 and 9 pm. If I am not playing I am spectating. When you don't see me on the server I'll be watching on the RSA (Remote Server Admin). Just ask if there is an admin around even if it don't show up on the players list. I'm also around on Vent in the sniper room.

I have to say that I sometimes see players make accusations towards a player who is seemingly running all the time. But in a spectating view most of the times this isn't the case.

I see it can look like someone is running all the time, but the only thing I see is a player that runs to a spot when spawning, get shot and gets to a spot again.... get shot again etc. Now that can surely looks like someone is running constantly but as a spectator I can see the differents..... A player misses the overall view a spectator has.

When there are many players around I can still only spectate one player at a time. Even I can't see everything when players are misbehaving, but I still have to see it myself before I kick someone.

I also am an Admin that likes to give new players a chance to grow into the game. Only if they are really total dumbasses I will kick them rightaway.

I have too agree that there aren't much admins around these days. Most of them seem to play other games in the unreal world at this moment. I know we have a lot of admins, but it doesn't show because many of them aren't real active on the sniper server. Then again I am in the European time zone and can only speak about the time periods I usualy play.

My playing times are as early as 4 am (10 am here), till as late as 12 midnight (6 am here).

I would like to have more admins on (not necessarily new ones) because I really would like a discussion sometimes with an other admin about a player when I am spectating.

I wish there was a way to spectate up to 4 or 8 players at once

I play mainly on DOU server, and spend on it many time. If I get an administrator, I can assist in actions. Natan and I live in the same time zone.

Grass I understand your frustration but there is a reason we give players 3 strikes before banning them and NATAN hit it in his post above. When a player isn't being spectated it can seem like they doing things they really are not guilty of. As a clan we have always given people the benefit of doubt because without someone spectating them to see exactly what really happened we may be wrong. For that reason having two incidents in the same map is not necessarily two strikes.

We try first to correct the problem by trying to communcate with the offender. We try 3 times and at the end of that we vote to give them a 30 day ban that becomes a permanent ban if they don't come to the forum and ask to be allowed to return.

I am sometimes available to come in and admin. You can send me a pm and see if I respond, I check my e-mail a lot for my work. If I am able to come and help I will. I work 60 to 70 hours a week and have a family besides so these days all I do is work and spend what little time I have left with my wife and son.

I agree with Natan on mentioning the need for an admin and see if one shows up. I know some of us keep an eye on the RSA while doing other things just in case we see everyone complaining about a player or a KOS person comes on. I've popped in before after seeing such on the RSA just to spectate someone everyone was mad at.

all admins should be in vent when playing, there are few members that don't have the resources to play and join vent at the same time. I am also in vent most days and i see few other admins in there although it comes down to a time thing. if players need an admin look in vent, post on the forum, type in game these are all ways to get there attention....
