I normally dont name names right away. Last few times people that I was talking about came forward. If it happens more, then I possibly will have to start ratting out people. And if you guys would read my post it said MEMBER not admin trying to change the map. I shouldn't have to do that anyways. And no R_Mad, it's not you.

I have posted before that as admins you not only admin guest's but other DOU and fellow admins. If you see one not playing fair then speak up it can only be fixed if its known to be broke.......

That's just it DM - Bison is stating that he saw a member to try to change the map speculating because "he wasn't doing well". My thought on this is - who cares? If a member wants to try to change a map for one reason or another, let them. As you know the map won't change unless a majority of the players on at the time vote for it. And if the player leaves - again - who cares? Maybe they had the Mrs calling for them - could be any reason. Either way it's out of line to call them a Pussy for it when you don't have the facts reading from the RSA.

As to Cygnus' point - It sounds like that there was a difference of opinion of different Admin watching the same player's actions - this wasn't the first time its happend and it won't be the last. My thought is that if the disagreement isn't resolved immediately after the incident, it's water under the bridge. There is no point in drudging up instances days, weeks or even months after the incident. The admin should work it out amongst themselves on a private channel in vent immediately OR post it in the Admin's forum soon after if you feel that strongly about it so the other admin has a chance to respond while it's still fresh in their mind.

I don't see any admin out there intentionally accusing a player something they didn't do. People do make mistakes.

I'm getting kind of fed up with this "Gotcha" atitude and accusing other admins and members of things that happened in the past - it's nonsense in my opinion. Its like people are playing office politics where there's really no promotion you're competing for. It IS possible to police ourselves and to be civil about it.

I would ask all of the members before you post something to ask yourself a question: is it your intention is to make the server a better place or to just look for a way to smear someone you don't like.

Relax.

Reread what I described in the earlier post and explain to me how anyone could get assault out of that? If it wasn't an outright false accusation then the admin who made it has no idea what assault is.

There was no difference of opinion here.

And if I had it out for anyone the name of the admin would have been made known.

The problem is sometimes players make asumptions that are not accurate.

Hypothetical for instance ...

Player A shoots player B. Player A is close killed by someone shortly after. "Player B you asshole, you revenged me!". "I did not" says player B.

Admin watching says " Player A, I was watching player B and he wasn't anywhere near you"

This type of thing has happened many times with me. There are a lot of variations but you get the idea. People jump to conclusions when they are upset and sometimes what you think happened is not what happened at all. When you happen to be spectating this is very clear.

My point is we should have actually seen what happened if we are to accuse someone of breaking our rules and not do it based on someone elses belief about what happened. If you are not spectating your belief may be wrong.
