However I believe that the increase in posts on the Security Issues is precisely because there is an increased action of admins in the server trying to put it in order...

Another important reason for writing posts, is that there is an obligation to report. So if you increase the control actions on the server, will increase the reports in the forum.

According to what I've read, no freedom for administrators to take the lead and to put in order the server according to their experience and good sense, but must follow certain procedures...

I would rather agree on some degree of freedom to act...

For example: In the situation reported about TapouT, and the others, I had wanted to play and have fun safely, however I had to stop my game, take photos, take actions kickin people, then check the IPs, edit the photos, write over them with photoshop, upload them to the network, writing the post in a language that is not mine, etc.

This takes me a couple of hours I could devote to my children or my job. If I'm loose, I would turn a blind eye...

But the reason I did all this work is that I am a responsible person, I wish to report what I see to serve to take some action by the red administrators...

I love my clan but sometimes I was puzzled by the lack of substantive decisions regarding these issues. All the time all discussions ends in the same vague things.

I congratulate BGH and Grubb, who take daily actions against offenders, and report in accordance with the rules, because I know the work that means doing all that. Please continue in the good work.

When I say substantive decisions, I mean, for example, that one day the red administrators meet in ventrilo, make a discussion and and then report things like this:

"According to what we have read and heard in the past weeks, we made the following decisions: such and such players should be kicked on sight:......"

In my country it is called "to cut the cake"

P.S.: To prevent any say things like, "and why you do not act as you think and stop complaining", and also prevent the explanations that follow, I do not take action on my own because then show up posts such as:

"You're not following the rules"

"You are abusing your powers of administration"

"We're not being fair to the guests"

"We police the server"

That's why some decisions are required on the part of senior management of the clan.

Agree with both posts. Ive kicked hundreds of people it seems like and I like to think its something I owe everyone who wears the tag as well as people who are friends of the clan. Its the most populated server for a reason. Its the best and as such we need to kick ass and take names as mods.

As far as Mads list I say hell yes those people should all be kick on site. They are a pimple on the ass of DOU and should be popped and covered with Proactive 😆

Several people on that list are former GOB. Can someone implement a ban on the 67.212 range? That would nix about half a dozen problem players.

My intention here is to raise awareness within our Admins.

R Mad - I am sorry that you feel like you have to do all of this just to clean up our server. Of course I don't make the ultimate decisions here, however I personally don't need videos, screen shots or lengthy explanations as to why anyone was kicked from the server. A short this is why will do and move on. I think we as Admins have plenty of integrity and there should be a certain amount of trust within the Admin group.

We are here to have fun and enjoy the game - and from what I can tell only have another year or two before the 99 master server is gone. Please don't spend it creating loads of paperwork for yourself.

Remember that, how strange it might seen, we are having a luxury problem here. I’ll bet that the OMA server for example doesn’t have these problems, but we wouldn’t change our server with them wouldn’t we?

OK when i gave out admin to the recent players meaning just about every one here, all i asked was that you used common sense gave players reasonable warnings and record there names precisely as they were in the game/ips and post what the problem was any other info was upto the individual to add. R_Mad if doing all that takes that much time all though appreciated that you put the time and effort in please feel free to drop it in future or just type in player x said this we believe you and dont need to see it in a pic. i appreciate the time that all admins put in but taking it to excess destroys you i know i did it myself...

Part of the reason I stopped being on so much. I was on being Sheriff so much that I was pissed off at the end of every night. You gotta step back once in a while and with the amount of people we have working on it now its better for everyone's sanity

I feel ya Abb, ruined many a game for me. I was always having to leave a game (I was enjoying) to watch some idiot. Most of the time it was someone who had alreay been warned about the same thing ten or twenty times before, that for me is what really gets on your nerves. It's not as bad when it's someone new.

I don't think it's fair to admins to have to keep warning the same people for months at a time. It got to where I was policing 80% of the time and playing 20%. This went on for a couple of years before I got fed up and started playing elsewhere just so I wouldn't be asked to police the server. I have a job, I come here to play. I think we all do. I don't mind helping out but It has gotten out of control in my opinion and just keeps being handed down to the next generation of Admins.

Also, If we have people we have to doubt as Admins, they shouldn't be Admins. I also think it is unfair to members, or regular guests, to have to tolerate the same idiots breaking the rules and ruining their games over and over. Our process could use some more streamlining.
