How far is 'quite a distance'?

If anything happened at all to interrupt him watching you leave and him seeing you again at a distance the frag is legit. Otherwise he's wasting time keeping track of you instead of looking for a frag. When somebody leaves another's spot they should be given no more than the usual spawn protection time to get to cover by the person who let them leave.

If you have it in for Gutwrench at least make it about something that is blatant rule-breaking. This was judgement-call at best.

I agree with cyg here, i wouldnt let you run more then half the map before i thought headshot. It seams he did let you go which is what we ask, he didnt follow you although he may off in the scope but anyway you slice it he gave you the chance you are the one that blew it...

I played that match against you both, Nuker, and often randomly dropped in Gutwrench spot. He always let me go. Never shot.

I think, don't judge him to harshly yet but keep watching.

I would guess that nearly everyone in this clan would be at least slightly pissed if a player (let alone a player that's a repeat offender, and recently banned for that matter) shot you in the back after leaving wouldn't call that at the bare minimum a "cheap shot".

We have NO idea how far he xloc'ed out of there, how long it took, or where at on the map from where he was at to where he was going. Fact is that Nuker's not exactly a Revisio doing boot-jumps and such but I'll leave it at that. I think that it's a rush to judgment to ASSUME we could gauge how far he went in what amount of time. Instead of asking those questions first, the assumption was made that Nuker "has it in for Gutwrench" and this matter should be dismissed.

It would be wise to get the facts first then let the chips fall where they may.

Regardless, we should discourage cheap shots. We get on the server to have fun, not frustrated.

No it should not be dismissed, but nuker did write that he let him go and only shot him after he had travelled quite a distance across the map and no i dont think nuker has it in for him either.

Please understand that I'm a plain spoken guy. If I "had it in for gutwrench" you would all know how and why he earned it. I was less than 5 seconds away when he shot me. As I said before if I stopped anywhere along the way and turned and shot him I say it would have been a CHEAP frag. That's not how Clan DOU plays. If you're telling me that I can move a little ways get to cover and the person I encroached upon is then fair game my scores are gonna shoot through the roof! I'm serious about this. I will play that way if you are telling me that's legal. When people come across me I watch that they leave and don't follow them, unless they are backing up or have earned my distrust, so I truly don't know where they end up. If they are on vent I let them know they are clear. I don't go for cheap frags nor will I be one.

I need you to understand that the ONLY reason for this post is to highlight an incident that I still believe shouldn't have happened especially because the guy is on probation.

The last thing I want you all to know is that I resent the implication that I'm so small minded that I would LIE to "get even" with someone over a freaking video game. If I ever get that pissed off I'll stop playing. Please THINK a little before accusing a fellow Clan DOU member of something like that!

Gutwrench doesn't understand he walkes a thin line on our server. He was elevator camping in the Birdie map. I guess it's called: LookInToMy Eyes. Didn't warn him about it. let's just put it on his list and count it all up together.

Lots of people camp along that haul way too, not just him. Most times I play that map I always get shot there.

If you're referring to the diagonal elevator that stops at the round tunnel it is allowed there. The shaft extends above to a platform that was designed to ambush players from.

Yes, thats the one I'm refering to. So the 'no camping at elevators' rule, only aplies to vertical elevators?

Shouldn't be allowed there either. Doesnt matter "what its designed for" its still an elevator. Probably "wasn't designed to be" a camping map either
