When =& was first banned it was a full time job (and then some...) to keep him off the server because he was somehow able to keep switching ip's. I would sometimes kick him 7 times in a single day and he was on daily. Kicking didn't work, banning didn't work. Nothing worked.

If we ban him again as zjones then what?

The admins that are around will have to go back to watching the server for his name or ip's in his range and to what end? He will just change his name again and come back. Unless Tommy can black hole him we can't keep him off the server.

If he's playing nice most of the time (or at least I'm told this by a few regulars) aren't we better off just letting him play?

Ya know,I had a somewhat "friendship" going on with =& when I was still just a recruit.If there were some way that I could contact him,"other than the forum",I truely believe I could maybe,just maybe, talk some sense into him. IF zjones IS =&, then I am willing to bet I could talk to him about this situation and tone some of his b.s. down.

Saw zjones sitting in vent tonight by himself for over an hour...first time I've seen him there.

E: If you want to play the part of Undercover Brother again, I would suggest you first try to establish that zjones is in fact =&. Either way after that, everyone knows then if we're dealing with one or two people.

On the other hand, zjones now plays better than other well-known guests as Zimo, gutwrench, z3opa.de, and other barbarians...

=& has been on vent in the past, but has never spoken on it. I know he was on vent sometimes when I and other members and guests were playing on the server (him included).

He used to be on vent to eavesdrop when he thought we were teaming up.

I once had a discussion about that with him when he was on vent, but he only replied on the game server with the talk key.
