I think you know me long enough to know that I'm a serious guy. I do get annoyed sometimes when people playing on DOU accuse me of cheating. One in particular and his name is O-Thos. He is always screaming about FUN cheating. In fact we do have a strict policy with cheaters, when proven, you are out forever and placed in public that you did.

I've been playing for a long time on DOU and never got any serious warning from DOU members, I've never been kicked from DOU and at this time I get a permanent ban. I don't think that is fair, but like I said. I'm a big boy and take my punishment the way I get it. To be honest with you guys, I've never been banned from any server in my entire life and I do play UT99 since 2001. I'm not just some idiot kid, I'm 46 years old. I just get the feeling that most of it is caused by my FUN tag. I never talk bad about anyone, I always treat people with respect. That is why I came to your TS yesterday and asked what was wrong. I posted my question as asked by Nuker. Even in my posts I don't put any aggression or verbal offensive language.

I sincerely hope that my ban is lifted, because I like to play on your server.

30 days of the ban should be enough for him.

Voted NO, for the same arguments as stated by Rad.

Seeing his history I even doubt if there are arguments to continue a 30 days ban. He has been kicked only once. In my opinion there are much bigger troublemakers on the server to take care of.

I voted to continue the ban.

He may only have been kicked once but that was only due to a lack of Admin presence the other times he pulled crap.

Using the TWAT[FUN]GIRL nick seemed to me like he was trying to get away with bad behavior. He assaulted me out of a spot while using that name and had I known it was Ironface at the time he would have been kicked instead of warned.

He also often comes in with a group of [FUN] people and the rules tend to get set aside when that happens.

I remember IvorBigOne was a decent guy to talk with on TS and seemed sincere about shaping up and following the rules. It didn't happen and I am of the opinion Ironface is cut from the same cloth.

I voted to lift the ban,,,"Trust but Verify" {Ronald Reagan}. I spoke to him as he stated in his post & I explained to him the history between our clans. He seemed like a reasonable guy & I'll give him a chance if he changes his name. There is an earlier post where I threatened to kick them all (fun clan members) because there was too much R&G going on but I cannot say that Ironface was doing it. CYG was there unbeknownst to me & he saw it too. I don't really trust the fun clan much but I do feel Ironface was sincere about his apology.

Voted No, out of all the fun players that come to our server ironface is no where near the top of the list of asshole's who need banned for the Fun clan. there are others who should be dealt with first in my opinion.
