Joey is good, very good. I don't think he uses a cheat.

We need to be very carefull about accusing players of using a cheat. There is a fine line between "good" and "cheat".

Rad is correct, hardcore freestyler from way back, not camper.

I did not accuse him...

In fact I only did a question to him.

On the other hand, his post in the public area was simply rude. I had a hard time keeping my composure and not tell him to go to hell...

Asking a player if they are running a cheat is the same as accusing a player of cheating.

I honestly can't see any difference.

It is best to start a thread in the security section and tell the membership you suspect a certain player of cheating. This is good for 3 reasons

One, you don't let the player know that you are suspecting him of cheating so he wil continue to do whatever it is he/she was doing. Plus

two,It informs other members and admins that will know to watch him for suspicious behavior.

Three, it doesn't reflect on the clan if he really isn't using anything.

I see this in a different way...

Beginning with the our server phrase "cheaters will be banned without warning", the question is: when I know positively if a player is cheating...?

It is a black hole... nobody have an idea, but the phrase is there... waiting to be applied...

In this case I belief he was using an aimbot, despite what you think. So I asked him with the conviction that his answer will say me if yes or not, despite which was the answer...

His overreaction in the server and in his post in the forum, gave ma a good answer to my question.

As he is so skillful playing UT, I am very skillful drawing responses...

Now I'm pretty sure he was using an aimbot.

Normally I agree with the strategies, and more than once I have proposed some.

Rarely have I seen one in practice. Conversely, if I follow this suggested strategy, I can assure you that we would see dozens of pages of fruitless discussions on the subject

And if I hurt his feelings, you could also see that he is hard nut to crack... and also rude...

I think he has run a bot in the past. One time he plays he cant hit the side of a barn and the next he cant miss ANYONE

Hard to resist the feelings that R_Mad is right.

I wondered many times how some players can pop up from hiding and kill me in one shot.

Sometimes it's a cheat and sometimes they are just well practiced and really good.

If you never play on freestyle servers you won't understand what I mean.

I played in a freestyle ladder on FN and played against a lot of players that were incredible including several players from the TA clan.

Yes cheaters should be kicked without warning. My point is we should be very, very, sure before we start accusing people of running a cheat. It's not what it says to the individual so much as what it says about us as a group to to others in the server that are watching/listening.

Was spectating him tonight a bit...he's definitely a very good player BUT my guess is he's running something.

Does it seem to be an auto targeting like an aimbot? Or does he know where everyone is even when he shouldn't like some type of radar?

That's consistent to what I saw as well. Very good aim. Saw him hit Pags across the map coming up an elevator after I kicked Toby Touchole.

It seems easier than someone with administrator privileges to record a couple of games of this subject, if possible with a single .dem recorded from the same game and together we could see their style of play and see if you really use any such cheat or simplememnte is very good playing.

That's if you cheat or not, that if according to you feel is if ability is very good and that makes things impossible with the help of tricks, I do not give sufficient reason for a ban, if there are points of view that is not consistent time to go over there and let us see everyone as this guy actually plays.

When I played with him last week he was total crap, wasn't killing hardly anyone. So that would support the idea that he might have something he turned on at another time.
