Unfortunately, I have no datas on the geof guys IPs. But the countries are the same... 🙄

but the guy that you had mentioned here is a mexican guy and he is not a Geof guy...

I dont know why you are not informed about that point...? their IPs were checked in the past...

so Moon is wrong, Mexico and Argentina are not the same countries...

I do not agree with add these mexicans guys to the ban list... I think you need to do a better analysis about the G&R guys and the cheater guys...

These players have been trouble since they started playing here. They rarely folow our server rules, they are rude to admins and other players and constantly complain. They do not seem to understand how to act like a guest. I have no patience for them any longer. If they don't understand what is expected of them to play here by now, they never will.

I think they understand and just don't care...

I've had it out with both of them before and have also had discussions with them so they both know what is expected of them on our server and it doesn't matter if they are from Argentina, Mexico, the US or any other country. The bottom line is that they CHOOSE not follow our server rules and CHOOSE to disrespect admins. They also have a habit of choosing small maps when large quanities of player are on hand to create the exact type of situation mAmA described at the start of this post.

They've been given more chances than they deserve, IMO. I agree with mAmA, ban them please.

Until then, next time I see them I will first let them know they are no longer welcome on the sniper server and then I will start kicking them on sight.

It is their behavior, not their country of origin. This has been going on with them since June, actually a little earlier.They got quite a few warnings before I kicked them for the first time. The first thread was started by Wave.

I will boot them on sight, no more warnings, no more chances.

R_mad, when I look at the IP, I don't care of any country !.. It's the international web attribution that I get. I don't create an IP by myself 😉

And there is not a bit of confusion in what we say about those guys. They always refused to play by our server's rules so, they're not welcome on it ! that's it. And you can believe me : I'm a very patient guy ! Even with young players that sometimes don't understand that a server isn't like holidays with their parents 😀

but about R&G guys, there are lots of the other forms to solve the problems, including ban ouviously...

I would like to bring this subject to be discussed in a more technical and less visceral form, because the idea of a server is to attract players and teach them also, and not only warn and kick...

I think the most important subject are the cheaters... that need more atention and time....

We are aware of the "cheater" problem and are looking into it, however since there won't be any more upgrades for utdc, our options will be very limited. For right now, we are just trying to keep a closer eye on the server.

I have seen =& several times this week. I let him know he was no longer welcome here on our server and then kicked him. after repeating that a few times I "kickbanned" him, he's still comming back. Now, when he see's me come into the server he leaves.

I just booted him too. He seems to be coming on mostly in 2am to 5am Eastern.

If any admins are around at those times, please give the server a glance.

He hasn't been back since I booted him.....keep your fingers crossed he got the message.

Eastern, yes.

And of course, I seen him on the server after my last post this morning but he was gone by the time I got there.
