I checked the server late last night before bed, about 11pm or 2pm EST. I put the login info in the control panel so all I'd have to do is hit enter and bring up the ASC window to kick him, He still got out before I could kick him 😆

Funny enough I heard he was real bad earlier the other night, but when I came on he started camping. Guess I've kicked him enough times he remembers. He should be back on the KOS list.

Yeah - he's just a pain in the ass in general. Nothing fancy just does whatever the fuck he pleases and taunts anyone with a DOU tag that can't get to him. Just like the rest of the juice crew.

Another turd to be pissed on and flushed IMO. But we are giving him another chance because we apparently like to savor our turds.

Just played with him and Wisdom. They are all over the place assaulting. When you kill them, they moan and say that you moved when its them moving.

Kicked =& from the ventrilo tonight. All he was doing is listening ang blablating on the server saying what we were saying on vent but not saying a thing on vent tho. By the way he was assaulting, run n gun and close revenging. This guy will never learn.

He came back, I kicked him again. This is another happy_camper... Spying. He got pissed off because I asked Natan where he was. Was not a team game but since I have played team games all evening, I taught it still was.

I just talked to this guy/girl for about an hour over the course of playing three maps with him. He insists that Lovely and Natan were teaming him and he didn't feel like that was fair; ect ect. These screens will illustrate some parts of that conversation:

I think we've heard this "I don't know what I did wrong" sob story before, however he has been coming on vent recently but not saying anything - so I hear.

I acknowledge that it is easy to get into the teaming frame of mind while on vent. I do it myself sometimes - and I've had people do it to me before as well. To me it's almost a part of the ventrillo experience however it is kind of questionable. I think I've heard almost everyone that frequents the server do it at some point. And I think it is especially frustrating to some of our guests who don't partake in that experience. I knew where lovely was on a map last night and chose not to shoot her because she let me pass. And I may have done that with several guests that I know well as well as other DOU members - but certainly not =& becuase I doubt he/she would've let me pass.

The point is - =& was stirring shit again but may have a case in court this time.

To keep the game fair for members and guests alike the only time someone should be allowed to pass without being shot is when they are spawning. We should not allow some to pass while others are shot. This will contribute to a perception that DOU does not play fair.

If I am passing by, and I am not spawning, shoot my ass !

Also I have heard many times in Vent people saying " I wonder where so and so is ... ". I have wondered out loud myself a few times when someone had a good run going and I couldn't find them. That's not the same as asking people to tell you where others are. In aTDM, sure fine. Otherwise, we are once again contributing to a perception that we don't play fair.

I'm not sticking up for =& here, but what he overheard upset him because he believes that's what is going on in Vent when he's not there. We are discussing his position and giving it to other players. I'd bet that is also why he's there to begin with, to hear what goes on. I myself have been offered many times info on other players locations. Doesn't everyone see this is completely unfair and just wrong ? Do we need an edge to win ? In this case what Lovely did may have been an innocent slip of the tongue, but there are other times it is intentional.

All of this in essence is cheating and needs to stop, we're not that kind of clan, or are we ?

Ok this is my side of this story. Lovely and me and several others had played a few TDM maps, 4 or 5 or so… When we played MassiveBedrooms I got shot by =&. No problem at all. Lovely and I where on Vent and she asked me: “where is he?” And I responded: “He shot me in the blue room”. That’s not really saying where he is but it’s approximately giving away where he might be. He could even had shot me from the opposite pink room there. Then =& typed: “why are u two teaming up”. We both didn’t know he was on Vent. But he said he overheard our conversation. Still no problem I think. Lovely explained him that we had played a few TDM’s after eachother and was still in a kind of blurry TDM-mood. She still thought we were playing a TDM-map. So I can accept the fact that &= thought we were teaming up, but we really weren’t. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that I was shot in the blue room but so these conversations often go in Vent. If I was standing in his shoes I might even called it unfair also to be honest. That’s if I haven’t had any further information.

When he’s on Vent and don’t say anything it might be considered a form of ear dropping. Personally I got no problems with that. I think the DOU-clan has nothing to hide. We ask them to join Ventrilo on the server and there are no rules about having a brief conversation to introduce yourself there I believe? So that’s no problem for me either. It would have been polite however to have said something. But that’s fine with me, maybe he’s a shy person I don’t know… Kicking him from Vent wasn’t a good idea I think. On that way he’s going to assume things are the way he thinks they are and that we have got things to hide.

About letting players pass. I also have that experience with some members while on Vent. Sometimes they tell me to pass if I want. Sometimes they ask me if they may pass me to go to another spot. I even have experiences with guest players who did/do this. I like to think of it as a kind gesture. But I can understand this might be a problem in the sentence of who will you let pass and who not. That’s something that can evolve into a hot issue. I recognize that.

To keep it all fair it’s probably just like mAmA says: let people only pass while spawning. But it’s not easy when being asked polite to please let someone pass. And it also got a form of attractive play in it. Don’t say it’s right but it’s how it feels.

About the fact that =& got upset about what he overheard and he believes that that is going on in Vent when he's not there. He’s should better go in discussion on Vent than only listen what we are saying about it. Let him speak up on Vent instead of assuming things are like he thinks they are. In essence Ventrilo is all about communicating isn’t it?
