I need to address an on-going issue here that needs to be resolved.
Awhile back I noticed that Nukers signature file here on the forum was in violation of our stated clan policy, so I removed it, replacing it with a message stating that it was in fact a violation of our policy. The signature is as follows:

The stated policy is as follows:

Soon after removing the offending sig from his account I received the following PM from him:
Tommy,
Someone took away my signature. Do you know why this happened? If so would please explain? If not would you please send me a copy of the clan charter so I may understand why picking on an enemy of the United States of America & an international terrorist is against the DOU charter. I also did a search for the DOU charter and the search found nothing. I'd really like to see this charter so please send me a copy. You know...this smells like a small minded person is trying to mess with me which would be a VERY bad thing to do since we are all in the same clan.

Obviously from what was said in this PM, the sig is politically motivated, a direct violation as stated above. I wrote that policy before the first member was recruited into DOU over 7 years ago. Equally as obvious, he knew that I did it (being the only person with the authority to do so), and took the opportunity to call me a small minded person.
I replied back stating that it was in fact me who did it and I stood by the policy stating that the sig had to go. I asked if he wanted this brought up to the clan.
His next reply is as follows:

I really do find it necessary to bring it up in the members only section of the server. I frankly can't see anyone of any worth being offended by my signature. Please inform me as to how this is to happen A.S.A.P.
There is another part of this that will be brought up in the discussion that I believe needs to see daylight.

Of course, he took another opportunity to insult me implying that I am worthless.
Regardless, here it is.
Apparently there is something else that has yet to be disclosed needing to see "daylight." I guess I am in trouble.
I will be removing this sig again shortly, and if it re-appears I will take further action. There is no need for a vote on this. I am still clan leader and do have the authority to enforce policy. I did not create this clan 7 years ago just so that someone could come along and shit all over it because they don't like me.

First of all let me tell you that I know there is some friction between the two of you.

I personaly am not ofended by Nukers sig in whatever possible way, but I have to agree it seems to be in violation of the stated code. That’s also the reason why nuker had to change his former name which was NukeIran.
Tommy are you sure you are feeling ofended by Nuker calling you a small minded person? You might have heard worse then that. Is seems you both don’t get along at the moment. Talk it over on TS3.
I don’t think he is implying you as worthless. “Anyone of any worth” seems to be more a statement of ‘who the shoe fits’.
My Conclusion:
• I realy think it is necesarry to talk the personal problems between both of you over on TS3 by only you two. It doesn't look like a clan issue. Nukers sig is here for a long time now. Can it be that this is related?
• The sig can be moved, because it is a political statement. If it re-apears again, you as clan leader and founder will be free to do what you will think is nescessary. I hope Nuker is wise enough and wont let it come to that.

And that is fine, you can see it that way. But I have read otherwise. Of course how can I say anything else without it becoming a political argument. That is the point, the sig is politically motivated, that is what is at issue.

As I see it it is nothing new and not personal .
I have had posts deleted, mostly jokes about a presidential candidate. I understand why and never bothered to say anything because as soon as they were deleted I realized what I had done was political even if I had not intended such. I just got a laugh and posted for others to do so also.
I just see this as enforcement of a long standing policy and nothing more.
Tommy if nothing else had been consistent and diligent in the policing of this.
For me, the sig was indifferent, because I do not know English well enough to understand it. 
But I know, that in order to preserve a relaxed atmosphere you must avoid three topics: political, religious and sports. :redflipoff:
And the safest topic always is weather or Marina's butt (leastways in Poland). :smileysex5: :eek

My advice as a friend: Create no problem, just get rid of the Sig.
We might all agree with you on the words, but it IS a political statement.
