I need to address an on-going issue here that needs to be resolved. Awhile back I noticed that Nukers signature file here on the forum was in violation of our stated clan policy, so I removed it, replacing it with a message stating that it was in fact a violation of our policy. The signature is as follows: <i> </i>G'ITMO WORKS TORTURE WORKS OSAMA IS FISH SHIT!!! The stated policy is as follows: <i> </i>2) No politics or religion themed topics should be brought up in the server or on the message boards. If that's your thing, find an organization or club more suited to those topics. This is a gaming clan, we are here to have fun in a relaxed atmosphere. Soon after removing the offending sig from his account I received the following PM from him: Tommy, Someone took away my signature. Do you know why this happened? If so would please explain? If not would you please send me a copy of the clan charter so I may understand why picking on an enemy of the United States of America & an international terrorist is against the DOU charter. I also did a search for the DOU charter and the search found nothing. I'd really like to see this charter so please send me a copy. You know...this smells like a small minded person is trying to mess with me which would be a VERY bad thing to do since we are all in the same clan. Thanks NUKER Obviously from what was said in this PM, the sig is politically motivated, a direct violation as stated above. I wrote that policy before the first member was recruited into DOU over 7 years ago. Equally as obvious, he knew that I did it (being the only person with the authority to do so), and took the opportunity to call me a small minded person. I replied back stating that it was in fact me who did it and I stood by the policy stating that the sig had to go. I asked if he wanted this brought up to the clan. His next reply is as follows: T, I really do find it necessary to bring it up in the members only section of the server. I frankly can't see anyone of any worth being offended by my signature. Please inform me as to how this is to happen A.S.A.P. There is another part of this that will be brought up in the discussion that I believe needs to see daylight. NUKER Of course, he took another opportunity to insult me implying that I am worthless. Regardless, here it is. Apparently there is something else that has yet to be disclosed needing to see "daylight." I guess I am in trouble. I will be removing this sig again shortly, and if it re-appears I will take further action. There is no need for a vote on this. I am still clan leader and do have the authority to enforce policy. I did not create this clan 7 years ago just so that someone could come along and shit all over it because they don't like me. {DOU}Tommy
