I just disagree with you on a few points R_Mad.
Tolerance stops there were rules are being broken, respect is a two way street. If someone shares his time to play with us on the server he’s doing that by free will. I personaly don’t feel obligated to write a PM to guestplayers, unless I like them very much. I this case, where you like Zjones, you would be the person to warn him by PM, not me.

The call for the vote can be found here on the forum in the TKK Bite-Me thread. The decision was therefor made here on the forum, not on TS.
This call came from Nuker. Besides Nuker there were a lot of complaints by others, which had to be taken serious.
Since we have not chosen to vote for an authority to take desisions and therefor do not have a leader in here to take decisions, we do make desicions as a clan by voting.
In a Democracy we all have an equal opportunity to express our opinion. Putting up a vote does makes those opinions visible.
I agree it may not be the perfect system, but at this moment it is the best we have and we’re working with it till something better comes along.

You may find it arrogant, I can see it different. We all have the right to see things otherwise.
You are free to put up a vote thread for a leader that will take care of desicions in matters like this, if you think it is nescesarry, and would be able to represent our clan.

BTW Bison zjones had the same bad English/grammar as =& for the longest time but has gotten better with years of interaction while being accused of breaking rules on the server...

The opinions, are visible in a discussion not in a vote. The vote is for to take decisions. Opening a vote poll you are enforcing a decision, not a discussion.
For example, if I had voted no, without giving my opinion, probably abberation had not given his opinion disqualifying my right to speak...
After a discussion or a debate, if we do not reach consensus, then we can vote.

In the past years, discussions were made with a respectful vocabulary...
At the present times, most of the topics begins or are post with a rude and threatening vocabulary...
In the past years, discussions lasted a couple of weeks in order that all the members could read and give an opinion. Later it was decided on the basis of consensus or voting.
At the present times there are no discussions, only votings as used in a Roman circus (you die or do not die), and in two or three days it is decided

Zjones and =& IP's are from opposite ends of Mexico. Also if it was =& Wisdom would be hanging around here too.

Geez Abb, show a little respect, she is fellow DOU and a women.
We all have the right to voice our opinions here. We get them from all extremes, nice to vulgar. We even sling names at each other in jest a lot.
Using that word in anger and to a women is IMO out of line. As she is also a member of our family and we should never treat family that way.
With all the negativity that goes on in this forum I personally find R.Mad's stance on issues a breath of fresh air. It is good that we have at least one person who tries to see the good in all people before condemning them.
Sometimes, after people come to our server and abuse us, we forget there is a high road to take and she always manages to find it.

Well said Charger. In the heat of a discussion we do sometimes forget that we're all part of the same DOU family.
We can agree or disagree, but need to respect eachothers opinion.
So let me get this straight. I make an observation that more than a hand full of DOU have as well. She calls me stupid and shows no respect to me as was the point of my initial post. But when I say something back (which I stand by) its all on me. Nice. 🙄
