Problem Children

I thought it appropriate to mention here that we are still being visited by Geof, and they are defintely problem children.

It seems there has been a real breakdown in general as far as rules being followed on the server, if what I saw today was any indication. I have been very busy the last few months and have not had time to look in on the server much. I had a little time today to check in and did not like what I saw. There were a lot of players ( 4 or 5 ) that didn't seem to know we had any rules. Geof Matador was there but checked out as soon as I checked in. A lot of the problem players seemed to be speaking spanish back and forth. They tend to run and revenge. One of them asked me about the rules (which was really cool if they were sincere) and I referred them to the forum address.

We need to keep an eye on this so it dosn't get out of hand.

I had someone who kept asking me what the rule were on Monday. I directed the player to the website but was asked several more times before the player disconnected.

Can't remember if it was one of the Latin players or not. There seem to be quite a few around here of late.

I've been pretty tolerant of people IMO lately but seeing that the problem has been getting worse I don't think I'm going to put up with much shit.

I will definitely be posting repeat offenders here.

I noticed today in my attempt to warn players that were breaking the rules that I was silenced after throwing up the same warning more than about 3 times. Do we have a new spam mod on the server ? If so it should be adjusted to ignore Admins. It's almost impossible to get these peoples attention with a single warning.

Kicked this idiot 3 times today. Says he dosn't understand what camping is, Uses very vulgar language and tries to engage in some kind of conflict.

You know the type, wants attention and gets it being an asshole.

you can make announcements show up in the text channel in white letters. i know i've seen it before. how often do the rules show up there?

Not often enough.

I think we should see a different rule pop up every minute. None of these people will stop playing long enough to visit our forum to learn them . I think the truth is the majority don't care.

I kicked Master Chileno twice tonight. Ignored me. Tried to come back as different names.

I think he doesnt speak english. He was wearing our guest skin, which I thought was weird.

He must have just figured that out, when I saw him before he just had a regular soldier skin. He does tend to assault sometimes and seems to not understand shit when you talk to him.

Sounds like one of our South American guests. Check his ping next time.
