I've kicked this guy for Freestyling, R&G, assault and close kills.

I also warned other players to camp on this map.
Grubb came in on my channel, sniper server, on TS and told me that 24hourFitness is the only map in the server where it is actualy allowed to break all of the sniper rules, because it gives players a break from camping?
Never heard of it and seems kind of silly to me. Grubb said he got that from Tommy.
I know other maps where we can allow guests to have a 'break', like Paris for example. Personaly I think it's pretty disturbing to tell players to camp, but that it is alowed to freestyle on just one particular map.
Would like to have a discussion about this situation.
Yeah, its pretty much all freestyle in that map. Not too many places to snipe from

Funny you should mention Paris, it was the first map I ever played on DOU, Bison gave me shit for moving around.

I guess if I did u probably were. The only map it is allowed on is 24hrfitness. Fucked up in my opinion but it wasnt my idea.
I didn't know that freestyle is allowed on this server.
This is a bad idea in my opinion. 
At the moment some players cannot already understand our rules - what is close kill and how big is to be a distance in order not to break this rule. They have also different habits from other servers.
The same rules on all maps.
I always thought it was a bad idea that this map is freestyle. I do not think it's possible a discussion, since this was Santa's idea...
On the other hand the map need to be fixed, changing the bot paths, which provide incentives to run...
i quite enjoy a random blast of run and gun on 24hr just because it breaks up all the hard core camping for 5 mins, and its not really a good map for camping anyway.

There are quite a few remakes out there.

In fact we have a remake on the server, but that one is hardly ever voted for.

I agree with you, but it should be clearly defined, which maps are for freestyle. When after 24hourFitness another map starts, some players are still thinking, that there are no rules. And then problems are beginning.
Although I haven't been on the server or TS in a while, I know when 24 hr Fitness gets voted on, I have always played it freestyle. Typically, when I have played it anyway, other players are told it is a freestyle map.

That's the way Tommy set it up from day 1. 24hr fitness was to be a "break" map. No rules, just go in and go nuts.
Personally I would like to see most or all of our camping maps on the free style server including 24hr fitness and just do away with it being a "break" map on the camping server. It's just another source of confusion and newbs getting the wrong idea of what they can do on our server.

F@%* the newbies, when I play I make sure to let everyone know that this is the ONLY freestyle map on the DOU server. I know this is a CONSPIRACY to kill one of MY favorite DEEMER maps!!!! 😆 LOL
