I'd like to approach the subject of too many people playing/voting in small maps.
Over the past few weeks I've noticed 13+ players either playing in or voting in maps like Living Room DD, Bedroom DD, Pond, Massive Bedroom and the like and it just turns into a huge run fest. Of course some people try to camp, but it's almost as if when these maps start it triggers half of the server to start Fuck-tarding all over. It's one thing if the map starts with 5-6 people and more peeps join before it finishes out, but then to keep voting in these maps is somewhat absurd. I think it runs off some of the desirable folks we have visiting the server and reinforces the idiots that we'd rather find somewhere else to go to keep coming back.
IMO I think we should set some guideline to voting these maps in with the amount of people in the server. I've seen some recruits as well as regular members going along with the votes when their cast. I wouldn't say that most of these maps need to go, because some are great for low populated times. I just don't think they are appropriate for 10+ people.
I have almost forced map changes when I see it being done to something like Van Hellsing just to prove the point - but I'm hesitating because they're really aren't any guidelines written that I can use to back up my actions.

you are... π
but I agree with you... π
in the past such a decision was grateful for most of players...
It's happened a lot lately. I keep telling people to quit that shit but they don't care. If it gets too bad just change the map. A bunch will whine, but fuck them, why should they ruin the server for people that actually want to camp?

Use your own judgement if small maps continuously get voted in with too many players on line change them for a bigger maps if you get complaints tell them to post on the forum....

I agree with Dark. You can't worry about making everyone happy all the time, it will never happen. You know your maps, use your judgement, if you think it's too small for 18 people, force a map change. The majority will thank you π

I find myself spawning behind someone else on smaller maps... Then it is harder to camp somewhere.
Even trying to get away, ppl mostly try for an easy kill.
