I wondered that myself...you think he was running a cheat, Grubb?

A couple times I got killed were very suspicious.

I have also seen the non-camper behaviors. I didn't see anything else suggesting a cheat however.

I am on the fence whether or not this guy is using some kind of cheat. I have had the unfortunate luck of playing with him several times over the past few days.

The only person I have EVER seen play sniper like this guy in my several years off and on the community servers is Memetic. I am in no way saying that this is Memetic, however he seems to know where players are Immediately just by facing any direction. I am not saying that he is using Radar to pull off shots - but perhaps some kind of Radar to locate players. I am not up on all the new and great hacks for UT but I watched him in spectator for a bit today and I contend that something here is extremely suspicious.

I wondered the same. I played against him the last coupla days, too...not too sure what was going on, but he got his ass beat and then dropped outta sight for a while. If I remember correctly, he did come back later, but I was on the way out at that time.

He gets out too much in open. I said to him, that what he shows us is not a camping. Today he played more as the camper, but still not yet it is enough. :nonono:

Today I played a few games against him and I think, he is not as good as his scores, but ...

I watched him for a while also as a spectator. He did something strange - he gathered speed and jumped on the wall. It looked like he was watching through the wall. After this he returned in no time to his former place - without using an x-loc.

It was on map Control Room.

His behavior was very suspicious.

For sure he doesn't play like a camper.

All we can do is wait for the new release of ace 9c, if that ever comes out, and see if he is caught.

I played several times with this guy. I'm pretty sure he is using a radar 😕

I played with Rad and this guy on the same maps...and as soon as he left, I asked other players what they thought of his play style. Multiple players thought his play style was quite questionable. :redflipoff:

Grubby, any info on the release date of that new ACE, or has it been pushed back?

Edit Just found some info on the "Unreal Admin Page"...looks like v0.9d is being worked on now. Last update for v0.9c said he hoped to have it publicly released in two months...and that was a month ago. This is a post from that site regarding v0.9c, posted 10 April 2012...

"Due to much work in private life anthrax did not had the time yet. But He will finisch ACE v0.9D asap for public release."
