Tech and friends are now banned from all DOU game servers. We put in today a full ISP ban for canaca. Please be aware that this does not affect Ventrilo, they can still come here. We are working on that next.
Also, I believe one of his friends was with another ISP. Thus, please report anything you find out and it will be dealt with ASAP.

Tech was in the server around 10:00 as DEMIX. I couldn't get his IP but he was raising so much trouble and running a cheat I had to kickban him. He did not return to the server but he immediately came into vent under the following IP

HE came in with all three. We can look at the ban list log in Vent to find out which he used first. My thought was that from the time I banned him to the time he got into vent he would have had a hard time changing IP. Trying to do a tracert from my house to the Ip adress resulted in the last 4-5 hops as being unknown

Can we do a MAC address Ban to stop ppl? or find something that will not let ppl on unless their IP/MAC Address is resolved???

I have heard that one of them came back on via rogers cable, but after being booted did not return. I am guessing that this was an open router in the neighborhood. We will not be banning that ISP, but whenever they come on using Rogers, we need the time, date, and IP logged.

Lt has an american / washington ip so isnt one of the Canadians ....

Someone from canaca other than the offenders can come to the forum, and on a case by case basis we will make things right.
FYI, I have begun banning canaca ip ranges on vent as well. I have a lot to look up, but as of now the primary range that they use is banned. Just another day or 2 and these guys will be a thing of the past.
Please note however that they can still use proxies to get on. IF after all the bans are in place they come back, it is very very very important that without warning they are banned from vent. The reason for this is that their ip is not logged until they are banned. Once the ban goes up, I can get the proxy ip and put a ban on that as well. I'd like to learn of the proxies and ban them anyway. A kick won't do, it must be a ban.
Just a few more days and this will all be in the past.
