No one ever asked for it but here is my humble opinion : I prefer a server with some (even few) respectful players than a server full of what we all call shit.

I don't want to say that you're wrong in your choices Tommy but I don't think you can be sure of what others prefer if you don't ask.

But one thing I do agree : it's your server (not ours) and you can manage it as you want without anyone telling you how to do. That's what I really think. As I said above, you're the boss and I know you give lot of time to do a great job for DOU. So, I'm ok with you're decisions anyway.

The thing is I can't play on DOU servers (my ping and freestyle can't get married) and I'm not a big loss for the clan.

I'm convinced that there is a solution between 0 good players and 20 game spoilers.

I already said that I used to play on a 2k4 server (will we get one ?) which is always fullhouse and there are admins spectating all the time. That's why the server is always full of good and fair players. It's only an example of good result.

I think overall the people playing on the server are behaving themselves.

There are a few that come on like El Guapo and (I THINK BC) Shooter Elf? R&G but ElGuapo gets creamed in the big maps cause he's running in the open.

I know Under Dog gets really po'd about r&g and the redeemers, he jumped me about a redeemer in Frankensteins lab one night about having to resort to that if I can't just use the rifle. But, Oh Well.

I am not sure at times if someone is running or is looking for a place to hide. There have been plenty of times that someone has left when they saw me occupying a spot and plenty of times i have been blasted instead.

I don't care for the vulgar or offensive names that some use periodically.

Saturday night in House of Pain somone came in with the name of "Nigger Stomper" but left just about as soon as they were logged. That I don't like.

I would be willing to help in any capacity to alleviate problems. I play just about every night for at least an hour or so, sometimes much longer. I do say something to some peope now and then.

Like I said in the beginning, I think overall things are going well but could be better.

If ANYONE logs on with a name like that, there should be a permanent ban with the persons I.P. listed on the public area of the forum. I can tolerate most things, but racism and stupidity cross the line. 😡

FYI

Nitro was back on the server tonight under a different name. He was taunting mAmA while he was in the server and when he (mAmA) was away. I forget his new name but you have played with him before, Mr. M (something or another) Hmmmm. He came back on as santa_claus and I Love Mama.

He was asking about why Nitro was banned. The time was approx 7:50 PM EST.

In what was is he spoofing? It would appear as though he is changing his I.P. though. It will be hard to get rid of him, but I will attempt it.

"I Love Mama" could be considered as spoofing. Especially if he was ripping on yO mAmA as Jarg said.

Sorry, I misunderstood the term spoofing. A quick trip to Wikipedia solved that. Either way, he was taunting mAmA more than anything.

Yes Bison, I believe that was it. Might have been spelled slightly different but that's it in the nutshell.

Sorry, had to leave and just got in to post.

Tonight between 7pm and 7:42pm EST, I was being quizzed by Mr Makee hmmmk who I strongly suspect is Nitro. He wanted to know why his "friend" was banned. He said " his friend" hadn't done anything except try to be social. That he never swore or did anthing wrong so he just couldnn't understand "his friend" being banned. I told him it was none of his concern. He persisted. He started asking my age. Then, just as he made a comment about how I had a big head and my " power" had gotten to me, he left the server ( good thing because I had just logged in to kick his dumb ass off the server). A few minutes later he returned as " Banned" and uttered his catch phrase " Mama, do you smell cookies ?" Thats when I knew it was him. He wanted me to know. He wants to show us how clever he is. "I told him he was banned and needed to leave or something like that. He left. I'ts all in the log Tommy. We havn't seen the last of this wack job. It's personal now with him. Also he believes I am responsible for his being banned.
